Your Filipino fanbase will shoot up big time the more you showcase anything about the Philippines, especially our food :) We love it a lot when influencers from other countries appreciate and experience what we have in store for the world. I know because I am Filipino and I just subscribed to your channel after your Jollibee video.
I'm not gonna be surprised when that happens, because Philippines is social media capital of the world for a reason. But also depends on the content though LoL 😉
Glad you guys tried our food and thanks for advertising our cuisine all over. Salute to that restaurant who prepared delicious Filipino food, and i would drive a long ways just to eat our favorite dish. Thanks for sharing and God bless.
I'm a Filipino. Different cuisines depends on places, and foreign influences in the Philippines from North to South. In my province in Bicol Region, most of the food are cook with coconut milk and they are very fond of pepper and chili. You will enjoy eating tasty, healthy vegetables food mix with seafood. Honestly, there are still other food/dishes I've never tasted in my country, and I'm still looking for them.
Getting hungry i just had my ham sandwich and coffee .. sisig and lecheon kawali are my favorite topped on steaming hot rice .. pls stay safe and God bless you guys 🥰☝🙏
That were my fave the pancit canton and shanghai rolls🤪😋that restaurant brings and serves the best version of Filipino dishes. That vinegar sauce give the Lumpia kick at the same time has addictive taste that compliments the lumpia.
Watching from middle east.. Happy to see more of your reaction videos to our Filipino food.. God bless you both.. Keep safe and Thank you so much for such a good comment..
Thank You for appreciating much our Filipino cuisine in your place.Hoping you can visit our country in the future and enjoy more.ITS MORE LOVE AND FUN IN TBE PHILIPPINES. A proud Pinoy here in Tokyo,Japan.
Thank you for Loving Filipino food. facts: you can find authentic Sisig in Pampanga, Philippines and the Authentic one doesn't have Mayo and egg. Sisig made from Pig's ears or face, pig's liver, lots of onions, ginger, calamansi (Filipino Lemon), soy sauce and instead of mayo they add Pig's brain. next time try Bulalo, Sinigang, Crispy Pata, Bicol Express and garlic buttered Shrimp.
That's the thing, sometimes we have misconceptions about other cultures, and not only about food, but then the magic happens, and we are left bemused by our ignorance. I've had it before, Filipino food, amongst others, and so far, I haven't felt being let down by any of my choices, I'm adventurous in that sense, and the way you did, is exactly the way I do, a group of us, different dishes, taste them all, job done.
Thank you for loving Filipino food. But OMG.. you guys really hit the menu in the head with your choices! From the adobo, to the lumpia, sisig and lechon kawali! My mouth is watering now and I just had lunch! Try crispy pata next time. Also, Filipino pork as well as chicken barbeques. And grilled fish. There are many other noodle dishes like bihon, and palabok (not Jollibee's). Btw I know you tried the chicken adobo, but try pork adobo as well... while they are cooked similarly the flavours are completely different.
Totally enjoyed your video! With such candid, honest reaction and crisp, delicious descriptions you guys are a delight to watch. You're so ready to enjoy the diverse cuisine and breathtaking views of some of the 7,640 islands of the Philippines. Mabuhay and all the best from Toronto!
Looks to me like you guys are gonna start craving Filipino food.😃 Alot of our food is addicting. Keep trying different dishes, at least once. If you don't like something its ok. You might stumble upon a dish that totally captures you and gets you hooked. Now you'll need to satisfy your cravings weekly. 😋
I love those quintessential Filipino foods like Adobo, lumpia Shanghai, and the sisig! Yum. Eat Shanghai with sweet and sour sauce is the way to go. Lechon is my favorite though. If they have crispy pata, that would be game over for me.
I’m sure it’s good but it makes sense why they call it “fusion” but Sisig should be sizzling on a skillet sort of like fajitas, with a fried egg. Y’all need to go to an authentic Filipino restaurant. Really Nice to see you both enjoy Filipino cuisine!
This is the first time I've seen somebody dip the lumpia in adobo sauce I might need to try that when I cook adobo a bit dry and thick sauce I usually make it soupy because my son and I like to put the soup on some rice or make adobo rice with leftover adobo chicken or pork or both mixed there's also different variations more vinegar flavor, more soy sauce flavor, with potatoes, with eggs, and my favorite is the spicy kind. Also when you ever go to the Philippines try Dinuguan if you're up for it, street food, Sinigang ,Kare-kare, bulalo, nilaga, caldereta, sisig, and Balut.
If you loved lumpia (Filipino spring roll), might as well try to learn how to cook it. I bet you would have fun cooking this one. Once you prepared the wrapped lumpia, you can store batches in your fridge and fry some whenever you want. The ingredients are not that hard to find. The little ones you tried first are called "lumpiang sganghai" it commonly has ground beef, carrots, onion and garlicand sometimes would have diced shrimp. The larger one that is more vegan is called "lumpiang toge" for having bean sprout as its main ingredient with cabbage, carrots, onions and garlic.
Enjoy Filipino Food! Delicious. Nice Review. We enjoyed this!Getting hungry!Pork Lumpia! The rice is unique. It was usually served with steam rice! Happy Couple. Good Chemistry! Priceless
Filipinos use spoon and fork mainly because most dishes have sauce or soup on it so you need the spoon specially for rice and the fork is used for the bite size meat or veggies. Sisig is best when it serves on a hot sizzling plate. Also try sinigang (sour soup), nilaga, menudo, afritada the list is endless...and don’t forget to try Filipino dessert. I saw most people in that part of the world loves tocino its a sweetened pork (or beef) not sure if jollibee have it in the UK. Its served during breakfast, yes rice meal for breakfast =) i heard jollibee in the US served rice meal for breakfast.
I think they gave us a knife and fork because thats what most brits are used to. Jollibee in the UK has a very small menu, we did a video on jollibee and everyone says try the pie, try halo halo and the spicy chicken and we don't get them in the UK lol. We will remember for next time to use a spoon 😁
The explanation in your guys face explains all in detail. It taste much better when you are in the Philippines. Go travel in Visaya area we will take care of you. Glad You enjoy our food. ✌🏻
Ouh, the sisig must be served in a sizzling hot plate. Cracked with egg at the top and squeeze lemon... with cold beer?! Woah!!! Perfect combination...
That good looks amazing! Definitely legit! Lumpia is definitely a childhood favorite! Also you can definitely make lechon kawali in an air fryer! Takes a bit of prep but doable with a good pork belly! The sauce is a nice sauce made of pork liver, sugar vinegar and a few other things! Definitely my favorite thing ever!
Wow! You should try some sinigang. Since you like pork - try sinigang baboy. Sour tangy soup. Cassava cake if they have it. Sinampalukan anything. It is a milder sourness than sinigang using young tamarind leaves as souring agent and a vegetable but lemon grass & ginger has been added. All those soups have been simmered at least an hour except for bulalo. It is simmered for at least 4 hours.
@@OneCouplesAdventure our cakes are the best. The place where most of non Pilipinos buy their cakes. Red Ribbons and Goldilocks our franchise bakery. You can't go wrong. And if you like ice cream.
