Isn't the second Am7 chord depicted around 0:40 actually an Amin9th ? The fifth note in the arpeggio is a B natural.

i don't understand how this connects to anything let alone how the notes in those arpeggios are chosen,
I just see blueprints for random notes, For example Amaj arpeggio has the notes A, D, E, G#, F.
why ?

Hi, Amaj arpeggio includes the notes that make up this chord - A,G#,E,Ab. Same with the other chords.

арпеджио - способ исполнения аккордов, когда звуки аккорда играют один за другим; пентатоника - гамма из 5 нот, как правило имеют ввиду минорную или мажорную пентатонику, но есть и другие.
