As a young kid I never made it off Geonosis in this game. I remember coming back as a teenager and being amazed at the levels that take place afterwards.
I feel like Lore would have fewer complaints about ammo if he bothered to use the power weapon dropped by the Geonosian Elites. Though if I had one complaint about that particular weapon, it is that it doesn't tell you how much ammo it has. However my defence of that weapon becomes null as it no longer shows up for the rest of the game. Lore'll eventually find out that the Republic Commando holds 5 weapons. The SMG, the infinite-ammo-pistol, the sniper, the grenade launcher and OTHER. The other weapon gets swapped out as you find multiple different weapons take up the slot. If memory serves, and the pc controls are like the console ones, you have to double tap the button that switches to the pistol to use the OTHER weapon.
Not gonna lie, this was a tough playthrough to watch. For the first 2 hours-ish, Lore never used any other weapon aside from the machine gun and pistol, Lore never aimed down sights, Lore never used the melee weapon, Lore barely used grenades, and Lore rarely ever commanded his squad to heal or take up sniping positions. And Lore wonders why he kept dying so much. I love ya Lore, but Im not gonna lie. This was a brutal experience to watch.
I agree with everything you said, but my number one issue was that he didn't use the aim down sights function and then complained about never having ammo. Though, I do agree unlimited ammo or at least higher ammo capacity would be nice, but overall, it wasn't a fair representation of the game. Also, it isn't supposed to be a run-and-gun. Its more of a Halo inspired cover shooter that's sprinkled with some brothers in arms squad tactics. (though not nearly as indepth) likewise, love you Lore and keep up the good work!
See, I'll admit I sucked at the first part, but what makes me sad is now nobody will watch the second part, where I figured out how to play the game more properly (or the third part, for that matter).
Played this game on the Xbox back in the day. Never played it on PC, I've never been able to use a mouse and keyboard. The game was pretty mid and of course the less said about the Prequels the better. But in light of how bad Star Wars is now thanks to Disney, having non binary characters in the new stuff is insane, it's actually ok. It's not something I would ever play again but there's worse especially now with the state of modern gaming being infected by so much DEI nonsense.
Never clicked on a video so fast in my life. This game is my childhood
I preferred the sequel: Imperial Commando
Not a real thing, if only@@Infernal460

RIP to Wilhelm clones 1-99
im still alive! glad to see this gem finally got funded.
In line with Run and Gun, I propose we rename Cover based shooters to Squat and Pot-shot
This shit was like a poor man's Halo. Lol. With squad commands.

@LorerunnerStreamArchives I finished part 1 yesterday. I plan on watching part 2 and 3 today and tomorrow :)
Republic Commando? Let's f**king gooo!!!
Prepare to get your ass handed to you. This game makes Halo 2 on legendary seem tame.
