- I knocked on the right door at the right time and found this lady trying to find some help to get her lawn cleaned up.
She didn't have the money to pay but it was Free Mow Fridays!

Great work, Tim. I was a construction worker before I retired, so I am always curious about the differences in construction there and here in the U.S. I notice the open fencing in front as opposed to the chain link fencing here, the solid (privacy) fencing appears to be metal versus the wooden privacy fences here, and really curious about how many of those homes are set approximately half a meter ( guessing by eye ) on exposed piers. Here that would all be closed in to protect from weather and critters. Seems like being open like those that it would be a haven for any number of critters, and the plumbing being exposed to weather. I have to imagine there is some form of protection for that, or maybe there is just no need there. Again, great work, Tim.
What kind of mower was that? I didn’t hear it well.
I have the Ryobi, for a semi disabled person its been amazing. Its so lightweight and easy to use and cuts my lawns in 40 minutes

One of the coolest things about your channel is your backpack blower, never saw one that I’d like to use more than “big red”.
A wonderful bit of work there, Tim. And the mower will hopefully allow her to mow to keep things up. That's a big yard, and she might have to do it over a day or two, but no matter.

I’ve actually learned watching this. I have the speed head on my trimmer. The line was always wrapped around the head as I wound it up. Looks like I was turning the wrong end. I’ll try it your way next time. Thanks for that.

When i was a kid about 1970 there was a big almost mansion in my home town and the man who was the caretaker of the property would get me to mow every 2 weeks. He supplied the mowers and fuel and i pushed that thing for hours at a time no telling how far it was. The lady who lived there was so nice to us bringing us water to drink on hot summer days. Its a wonderful memory now. Your videos remind me of those days. Thank you for sharing.👍

Thank you for helping this lady. This yard actually looks like it has been maintained well up to this point. For whatever reason it had gotten high, I don’t feel that it was a lack on the lady’s part. Most of the time the lawns are overgrown is due to the people not having a mower, not having the money to hire someone, some kind of disability or in many cases just plain laziness. This lady deserves your consideration! God bless you for helping her and God bless her! Also, thank you for your generosity in giving her the mower.

You know, Tim, you are great. It's not just that you do the Free Mow Fridays, or that you provide these great free cleanups, but it's just that you are so genuinely nice overall. You have this great "aw, shucks ma'am" vibe that always makes it feel like they are doing you a favor by letting you cut their yards. And you just go so far above the minimum and really give them the ability to be proud of their surroundings. And, yeah, the fact that you're a cutie pie doesn't hurt 😉
