Great video! Keep calling out the SEC’s apparent blindspots and hypocrisy. Video could do a better job of outlining potential reasoning of the SEC guy. Perhaps in his view roaring kitty is one of the wealthy people taking advantage of others by pumping stock and he’s too surrounded by groupthink to realize the inconsistent application of the justifications he’s using to raise alarms over a chair meme.

People have complained about Chipotle for a long time. Their service is inconsistent across locations but that doesn't necessarily hurt the company. I have had good food and generous portions in some locations while the others not so much. One thing they are consistent about is how unappealing their rice is.
I agree. But, it’s not just the sec. All of our federal institutions are corrupted and captured by the very industries they are supposed to be regulating. The consequences for this behavior needs to be made so severe, that no one would dare behave this way. I just wish everyone would realize just how corrupt our government is.

The chipotle in my college town was great for the past couple years. Only was it recently that I noticed that the place is always a mess and portions got smaller. Qdoba is just down the street and superior due to free queso and guacamole. It’s pretty clear which one I exclusively go to now.
Google biggest advantage is their portfolio. They have Search, Gmail, Photo, Map, Workspace, TH-cam, Chrome, Cloud, Drive, translate, Chat, Meet, Calendar, Android, Asistance, Google Pay. These are just some of their most popular one. It's crazy how much they can monetize AI through those services immediately. Unlike OpenAI, the use case is just limited to saveral use case.

The double standards with the SEC are amazing. When the big banks/hedge funds do shady stuff, they might get a wrap on the knuckles, maybe a fine if they are unlucky. If we retail investors do stuff that's perfectly legal, its suddenly a concern. I think the last 16 years have shown us that it's not the act that is the problem, it's who commits the act. Who is the Chair/Former Chair of the SEC to tell us what we can and can't trade/invest in or what advice we can and can't take. It's not like they have to bail us retail investors out if we muck up unlike the banks.

I stopped going to Chipotle for 2 years. I mobile ordered a burrito and all they gave me was steak. I spoke to the manager very calmly and asked for the other fillings I ordered and she tried to gaslight me into say that I only ordered steak. Ended up taking the food, took a picture of it, posted a negative review on that location.

One thing I will comment on is that Starbucks boycotts was due to the statements and actions of some of their franchises in Israel and different companies who supported Israel over Palestine. The company didn’t come out at the time to defend its position over these statements that caused the boycotts to surge.
I like your view point, and focus. But I think one caveat in your argument that critics will point out is that, the meme stock guy for GameStop DID NOT justify his action. Whereas chamath or Buffett, truthfully or untruthfully (read SPAC) explain what they “feel”. The clarity for the action is missing for this GAMESTOP guy. Very good point, Joseph. Warren Buffet and other multibillion-dollar investors and companies are allowed to secretly buy stocks in companies, until they have to file their 13F. The SEC gives them a whole 45 days after the end of each quarter before company stakes have to be released. This situation with Roaring Kitty potentially already having bought GME before tweeting is such a minuscule non-issue, when compared to the likes of Warren Buffet’s special privileges
