I have the 2200 series with a 800 gallon hot water storage tank. I love my Tarm it heats my 2 car garage along with my 2000 sq FT home. I was paying 4000$ a year for Home heating oil now just my time splitting and stacking wood witch I enjoy doing. Great Unit that pays for itself.
Ron, I am long ago out of the physical part of the business - I now run Hearth dot-com, a web site about clean burning, etc. You can find many vendors there or elsewhere to get in touch with.
30 yrs later in 2022 and this is still not even know by the world shutting down fuel. That there is the ability to create ADVANCEMENT in technology instead of killing off the usage of fuel because of pollution it made in the past, and collapsing the modern world in the process.
I have contact almost every seller of these items requesting info on installation and maintenance . I have gotten vague answers that tell me to stay away from this technology unless you know how to do it your self and I do not . It looks like a great idea but it is cost prohibitive
Correct - whether there is more cubic feet of wood is something we'd need to study. But I think 1900 or so was a low point. I saw a pic of WV and as far as the eye could see (VERY FAR) there were stumps. They cut every tree in the state (and many other states)...they say 14 acres remains but I visited and it doesn't look virgin.
Yes, it was the add-on or stand alone - known, I think as 2002 model (smaller of two add-ons?). This was US designation, not sure what UK and Europe were.
No doubt a good solid fuel system (complete) is not cheap- either is a good oil or gas system! My suggestion is to try the good folks at Alt Heating of N, America - specially, I can't post a link in a comment, but if you google alernative heating of north america (AHONA dot com), you will find them
Drone Flyers Multirotor & Quadcopter info Are you talking about (alternate heating systems)? They make a great wood boiler called The wood Gun down in PA
Used for running cars during WWII - the techniques were known but not used in residential wood heating equipment until the 1980's when environmental laws in Europe came into effect (1980's also started such laws in the US).
@@craigissod6027 As far as I know the EPA wood stove laws here in the US didn't kick in until 2016. Although maybe some states/localities may have preceded that. The gasification systems were gaining a lot of popularity way before they were mandated because of the reduced smoke and fuel consumption. I recently bought a gasification boiler. Since I have an agricultural business I could still buy the regular wood boilers, but the gasification systems are well worth it. Although I have heard that the new 2016/2020 compliant systems are a lot more temperamental in order to meet the EPA standards. I bought a pre-2016 gasification system.
