  • Hi Peeps, had this one for a while so I thought I would upload it for a shorter explore.
Rosewater, Adelaide.1920 Californian Bungalow. These type bungalows are also known as The "State Bank Bungalow" built from 1918-30 and were constructed to the Banks specifications for the Returned Soldiers from World War 1 who qualified for low interest loans. They were the original "Cookie cutter" type homes that filled nearly every street in most early suburbs and were the downsized and far more conservative style homes moving away from the grand old Victorian and federation era Villas. Although there are some absolute amazing larger and far more ornate ones referred to as "Gentlemen`s Bungalows" 🙂
This one is pretty much in original condition but has had the carpets removed to reveal some cool old newspapers from the early 70`s. The old girl has sadly seen her last days and was demolished a month or so after this video. Hope you enjoy.
