This is insanely good! The almost Cajun underpinning is enchanting. And who is mixing this from such disparate sources? Also, for someone who never thought of herself as a vocalist, Jen is killing it as a backup singer. Also, love the accordion. Fabulous fun music, Sheryl. Congratulations to all of you. You may not know this, but actually this was the first time since Tuesday Night Music Club that she teamed up again (her sixth album, Detours) with Bill Botrell. He wrote the music, and helped on the lyrics on this one. It did well back in 2008 and just shows how well the two worked together when they could get along and put out music. Detours was probably her best album since her first (the others were good).
I love it when Jen does back up vocal. Sheryl is the coolest lady I just love her 😁

Sheryl Crow's music new and old is literally help keeping me positive. The pain of losing a loved one to Covid19 on 5/6 is beyond brutal. Experiencing the emotional roller coaster of his 29 days fight for life in hospital takes a toll. Worst of all due to the overall situation, loneliness and helplessness become intensified. Thank God for friends, family, and yes music; specifically, Ms. Crow's... Life savers!

Awesome. She decided to do this song... another song with Bill Botrell from the Tuesday Night Music Club, her first album. It was one of her best songs since that album and I just discovered that Bill Botrell actually wrote the music on this one on the album "Detours." Nice renedition. Not a happy song but very appropriate for this day and age. Thanks for sharing the producer/mixer name this time - he is awesome!
