- Learn about single- and multi-user MIMO in 5G NR, as well as common beamforming techniques and scenarios. The video covers different techniques to estimate the channel or channel information for beamforming purpose, how the UE communicates the necessary information back to the gNodeB, the different options for SU-MIMO vs MU-MIMO, and how to simulate a complete link with adaptive beamforming in MATLAB.

Best video on the subject, by landslide
Excellent explanation with lots of detail.
A question: How can I measure the CQI for multiple users interfering in each other using the 5G toolbox? I am asking because your examples only show it for a single user.
have u know how now?
@TengyuZhu It is a bit frustrating. I realized that the 3GPP does not consider the effects of interfering UEs to measure the CQI. So, the CQI computation considers only the noise, Rank Indicicator, and precoding matrices (that are already defined in tables). In a nutshell, it is like in the single user scenario 😆 🙄 🤣 even when there are multiple users.
Correction: CSI-RS is valid for both TDD and FDD, while SRS is only for TDD
