These 3 brothers used to sing in their bedroom as children and their mother thought they accidentally left the radio on!! Instead of the radio, their mother realized that her sons had a true gift!!

The Bee Gees didn't need any studio tricks (Autotune, etc.) to sound good. It amazes me how many singers today rely on studio magic to make them sound good and yet they still think they are talented. Give Me A Break! The Bee Gees were pure talent!

They are extremely serious in their music. Their performance is not just anything. The family is behind evaluating for the best production And so it is.
The production value of the 70s was perfect. No other decade did this.
I think the best definition of their music came in an interview I watched years ago. Barry said they don't write "love songs", they put music to emotions . I believe him.

The Bee Gees amazingly were not schooled in anything musical; Robin once said that they had people comming up to them saying things like, 'But you don't do it that way it is musically incorrect!' and he simply said, 'Is it we don't have schooling to tell us it doesn't work; seems to work for us!'. Lol.

The best band ever, bar none. I loved the Bee Gees. I miss them everyday, but I have to admit Robin was my favorite. There music will be around for a very long time. I'm so grateful for TH-cam.

What is so amazing even though they play instruments. Maurice guitar and keyboard. None of them can read music. It is all by ear.
The Spirits having flown concert is an event which can happen just once in a century and a DVD of this concert would have sold millions...
@@joannemarsh4557 I believe all their concerts were video tape by professionals but since Barry is the last remaining Bee Gee it's up to him to release them for sale. He's released 1989's Australian concert....I wish he'd release all of them BUT it's his choice not to and I'm sure he has his reasons. GREAT GROUP.....LOVE THE BEE GEES!
Barry said in an interview that they limit their interviews because to much exposure isn't good....that might be one reason why he hasn't released the rest of their concerts on DVD. I wish he would though....I'd buy them all.

"Top Notch" - an accurate description indeed, Chad. The Bee Gees were definitely the top in the 1970's, and their songs played everywhere you went. They had great songs pre-"Saturday Night Fever" - SNF arrived - a stellar album of music that changed our culture: the way we danced, dressed, etc. Next Barry Gibb and brothers followed with "Spirits Having Flown" album, spinning more Top Ten hits and tour of the same name. I'm so glad a new audience has discovered The Bee Gees to listen to these treasures and appreciate the music. I only regret today's new fans will not experience attending a Bee Gees concert - You simply cannot imagine what it was like to hear the Gibb brothers LIVE....beyond amazing!

Some of their influences were the Delphonics, the Stylistics and the Spinners. You should check out some of their work. The use falsetto too. I still have a Delphonics 45 (La La La La La Means I Love You). Think there may be a few more La’s in there! 😄
Morris said in an interview that Barry was a very compassionate, caring and loving person. He is very protective. He said that is reflected in his music.
Barry had said he does everything for his family. They are all very family oriented. Barry said that there are no pop stars in his household. All that stays outside. He likes a calm atmosphere and if anyone wants to be loud or yell they have to go outside! ( sounds like my mom)!😉

I must’ve missed this like I said earlier this was a whole year ago one of my all-time favorites by them, especially when they get to that special part that says “you are the reason for my laughter and my sorrow, blow out the candle I will burn again tomorrow, no man on earth can stand between my love and I and no matter how you hurt me I will love you till I die”. One of their most underrated albums...if you want to REALLY hear the Bee Gees flex their vocal prowess...check out the tracks "Reaching Out" and "Stop (Think Again)".
Barry's falsetto on both of those songs is outstanding. There will never be any other artist that can ever come close. I will keep on listening to both of those songs.

🥀They are perfect trio but true to heart artist yes they sound almost too perfect but they are brother's from the same parents they've been singing since very young age the twins were much younger. I love these Guy's I seen them in Atlanta Ga in 1975 they were kicking butt on stage. You need to listen to Barry Gibb in the 2022 he's amazing on stage he has his Brothers, Maurice and Robin on stage with him from large screen behind him and it flipped me out the 1st time I watched it because I knew it was after they crossed over...God Bless you and keep safe Stay Gold.🥀☝️🥀
Perfect three-part harmony. I am glad they let younger brother Andy Gibb have a solo career instead of having him join the group because four would have been too much and they were already a successful band with several hits under their belt.

Check out the harmonies in Paradise from the living eyes album. Don’t see that in your list when I did a search. Also, I always watch all your Bee Gees reactions. Another artist with a great voice you may want to check out is Steve Winwood (solo, also singer in Traffic, Spencer Davis Group and Blind Faith with Eric Clapton).
Hi Chad, another great song is "Emotion" by the Bee Gees. Samantha Sang released it in 1977 and had a hit with it. The Bee Gees did it themselves in the early nineties. I like their version the best but Sang's was good as Barry did back up vocal. Keep up the good reactions.

One of my all time favorite songs by the Incredible, talented Bee Gees!!!! You have no idea how big this song was, blasting out of car radios, house parties, bbqs and nightclubs back in the springtime of 1979 and throughout that summer. It was an incredible year for music and I’m talking about pop, rock, and yes DISCO!!!! This is also the 42nd anniversary of the album Spirits Having Flown, that included this song, reach number one ☝️. Thanks for posting.
