He banned CRT but not the history of the state to include this & Ocoee. He just wants it to include the “so-called” attacks done to “and by” us…in other words, he doesn’t want the true motives of these stories explained.

Oscarville was a thriving Black community full of carpenters, blacksmiths, and bricklayers, with farming as the top trade. It is now under Lake Lanier in Atlanta, Georgia. The whites killed the people and buried the town under the lake, where whites love to boat and fish today. I went to the lake one day and I felt an evil presence and felt sick to my stomach.

You wont hear about it unless you look for it. I researched lynchings 15 years ago and read about most of them. Its not a history that Americans want to broadcast. Why do you think CRT is so hated by whites. I am in my 50s as well. The truth is out there, you just have to have an interest in learning it.

I have known about this for many years. If you did not know about it before that is on you because the movie came out in 1997. A people without the knowledge of their history are like trees without roots. It is a shame that you did not know about the experiences our ancestors went through..The black holocaust...Slavery, Black codes, Jim Crow hanging etc. Your knowledge base is up to you to research not for others to do so. My children are younger than you and they knew about this!.

    This reminds me of the
anti-Mexican violence in Texas during the 1910s and 1920s. Anglo-Texan vigilantes, and law enforcements lynched and murdered hundreds and perhaps thousands of Mexican-Americans. Burning down tiny Mexican villages that no longer exist all across Texas.
This tragedy is called 'La Matanza' ("The Massacre" or "The Slaughter"). A dark US history not many people know about

I'm seventy years old and I remember our grandparent's telling us about this. My grandparents said the racist wanted to do this anyway. They were always mad and jealous because blacks were living and doing better than they were. That was their problem and she said they kept mess going on from one state to another rioting, raping, stealing, killing, burning whole communities up, telling lies, etc etc because they felt blacks had what they deserved. The racist went to all black communities doing this. My grandparents said they could have been doing better because they had more rights and opportunities.....they wanted free labor and not have to work like always. They're alwsys talking about others and need to stop being hypocrites and look in the mirror before talking about what someone else is not doing. They have it better because the majority has always believed the lies they tell and they get away with it.

Everyone will reap what they have sown...some say they are not responsible but still reaping the benefits...yeah they will be repaid also for the sins of their forefathers if restoration does not take place first...they have no room for repentance or restoration because they hold themselves not guilty. Zechariah 11:5“Whose possessors slay them, and hold themselves not guilty: and they that sell them say, Blessed be the LORD; for I am rich: and their own shepherds pity them not.”

You should research the Devils Punch Bowl. Right after the civil war was over and the North had defeated the South there were all these Black former slaves who did not know where to go. The south did not want them as free. The north did not want them either. The union soldiers told the blacks to congregate at this location and wait for further instructions. Once huge number of blacks had congregated the union soldiers proceeded to kill everyone to get rid of the problem. The civil war was not about slavery. The north was just as racist as the south. North = Republicans South = Democrats. Don't ever fall for that shit that the Democrats or Republicans are out to help the Blacks.
