    We built this yesterday, 10-8-22. We changed a few sizes: used 2 - 4x4x10($35.16) and 2- 4x6x12($51.96)
The Galvanized pipe diameter 1.25 in. ($56.84) The galvanized floor flange 1.25” x 4 ($75.72)
    4 bags of concrete ($19.88)
    1 lb box of 10x2” fasteners ($14.47)
    1 lb box of #10 x 2.5” PG10 ext screw ($4.97)
Also used 4-4x6x8 ($38.22)to cross brace the sides.
    Total cost $325
Our daughter is tall, should have set bars more than 5 ft apart, probably min of 6 ft apart. Her legs are too long to do her straddle kip. If I can figure out how to add pictures, I will.

Thank you very much for showing. I am definitely going to build this for my daughter who’s in her second year of gymnastics.

cool! im going to build my own uneven bars! its suprising how they want you to spend thousands of dollars for something you can build for like, 100 dollars.

Can you use wood for the actual bar instead of metal? Also why did you pick metal?

Just Amelia you get blisters from metal and metal is for men women use wood and that’s why you wear grips

So if you used 10 foot posts for the higher bar and the bar is 8 feet off the ground, there's no way you set that post more than 1 foot in the ground since the bar is sitting about a foot below the top of the post. That must be why it moved so much when she jumped from the low on to the high one. It's a great design, but I'd recommend anybody to dig their post holes at least 2 feet in the ground and the diameter of the hole should be at least 4x the diameter of the post (4"x4" post should have a 16" diameter hole). No disrespect intended by my comments at all, just wanting to ensure safety.

Grace Sveen it took an hour to assemble and it had to sit overnight so the cement could get hard
