My son and I had been walking through the garden and decided we need to harvest the parsnip blooms that were left over from fall. The weather was turning colder as Christmas time grew near. After harvestingwe started into the house for his bath and dinner. He stopped suddenly and picked up a penny he found.on the porch. He clutched it in his little.hand.so tight and looked up toward heaven and said Thank You. I asked him.who he had said the little prayer for and he said "for you Mama. Christmas is close and I know you are doing all you can". And he handed me the penny and said " I hope this helps". After I tucked him.into bed I hung the keepsake stocking on the mantle and of course you know...I had my self a real good cry. What had I done.to deserve such a generous and genuine child. Thanks Shellie for another great video!
My husband had a sweet habit while he was still with me and hadn’t gone to heaven yet. His habit was that he would say a prayer for someone every time he found a penny. He would stop wherever he was, pick up the penny and pray for someone. It’s a very fond memory that I have of him that makes me smile when I think of it.
I am breathless! So much and sick too, you are amazing. So love your stories and appreciation of quilts. My grandmother hand pieced and quilted a quilt every year of her adult life. Fondest memory of her frame all winter under dining room table beside her treadle machine. Harvest and Keepsake certainly belong together.
Thank you for another wonderful and encouraging video. I loved it when you said "now remember I'm 150 years old on the inside" ~ I am, too! :) What a beautiful keepsake your project bag is. Thanks again for taking the time to share with us.

My mother in law who is 96 still embroiders and then I take them home and make pot holders out of them so she can gift them to her care aids in the nursing she lives in. And though her stitches are not as perfect as she would like them, it blesses everyone who receives a pot holder from her.

I couldn’t buy the kit because I retired out of necessity to stay home and raise my granddaughter that we have had since birth and she just turned two today! Shellie, I'm so sorry for the loss of your stepfather. I'm glad your kidney infection cleared up. I know that pain, and it's excruciating. I had a kidney stone along with an infection. Love all your stitching! You are an inspiration! Thank you! Keepsake
Thank you so much for taking the time to put together these videos...I know it's work for you...but it's such a joy for me as I sit and "knit" while I watch your creations...of course all I do is take notes saying to myself "need that, have to get that...add to cart please!" lol. I, too, am an old soul and I just laughed out loud when you kept saying you were 150 inside...that's how I feel too:). Thanks so much!
I love everything about you!! Your loving heart, your beautiful home and your beautiful crafting! I just finished my first ever 46 count stitching for the locket pattern Colorado cross stitcher offered for free. Boy my eyes are old!! I’m gifting it to a stitching friend. Parsnips. Keepsake. A Stocking to stitch for my only granddaughter would just be awesomeness Love how big your heart is and it’s such a Keepsake to hold so dearly. Sorry for your loss 🙏 for comfort for you and your family ❤
We just helped moving my dear sister to Cedar Rapids, Iowa to be near her grandchildren and she mentioned going to Amanda when I come to see her next time!! Maybe I’ll meet you at Amanda one day!! I’m stitching on a blessed Sunday morning…working on a gift from a stitchy friend…Autumn at Hawkrun Hollow…that we started as a SAL on Thanksgiving…because I am so thankful she is my friend!! I’m stitching one of the pumpkins in DMC 900 and it’s exactly the same color as your pretty blouse!! I was supposed to be with you this morning!!! ❤ your flosstubes are a treasure to me!! I plan to make several of the friendship charts you showed to give as a keepsake for my friends! You are such a loving, caring and inspiring beacon to all of us. Prayers for your continued healing and for a blessed holiday season!💕
I am praying for you on your step fathers up coming funeral. You are a precious inspiration. I absolutely love keepsake. I am wishing you all luck on your 10,000 subscribers.
You are such an encourager! I have two Jeffery’s. My son lost his stocking in a horrible hurricane in Florida. This coming year, I hope to get the family new stockings made. Love you, C
God bless you Shelly as you journey through the process of grieving remember all the great memories you had with him. What a better place for him to receive him on most high. Great big hug my friend.
You make your channel the success that it is. You are so genuine, encouraging, knowledgeable and joyful. Each video is a keepsake I would hold in a locket close to my heart. I love the stocking and parsnip piece. Thank you for sharing❣️Hugs.
Your love for needle crafts shines Shelly and it's so inspiring! Your Keepsake bags are absolutely beautiful, I'm sure the quick fingers folks who managed to get one will treasure it always.
Hi Shellie, I am so sorry to hear about your loss. So glad you are back and feeling better, you are a very very gentle lady and a great stitcher! You make a big big flosstube episode and you will make 10,000 subscribers before you blink your eyes. What a kidness for us to share your latest keepsakes bag, I love parsnip and stocking. You had a enormous haul!! Crosstitch and wool applique and antique and quilting wow!! I’ve admired all the lockets I’ve seen. Thank you for sharing whit us. God Bless you Shellie and happy stitching.
Thank you for your wonderful flosstubes! Love them. The parsnip is so cute. I like the stocking. Penny is adorable. Harvest pattern is so cheery. Alpine Blooms so beautiful. Oh my the Keepsake bags! Wonderful
Thank you for your unbelievable "makers moment" from today's video. I'm an Aida stitcher and I have always felt that my stitching was mediocre because of the Aida. But, not after today!! My stitching is fabulous and thoughtful for the reasons that I stitched it with love and heart!! Love you!!
So sorry about deaths in your family. It’s a hard time of year when I think about family members who are no longer with us. Thanks for sharing your stitching with us. A stocking is a better keepsake than a parsnip 😃
Congrats on surpassing 10,000 subscribers 🎉. I wanted to thank you so much for your comments about Aida stitchers. I had a bad experience when contacting a well known brick and mortar shop about ordering an exclusive kit. Interestingly enough, I was speaking with the owner. The kit included linen and when I ask her if I could substitute Aida, she made a little huffing sound and said, “ What? You mean you don’t stitch on linen?!” Shellie, I my spirit was crushed. 30 years ago, I stitched on 60 count silk gauze for items for my dollhouse miniature projects with minimal to no magnification. Now I’m making a return to stitching after 25 years and find that linen is extremely difficult and not enjoyable and that 16 count Aida is my sweet spot. My plan is to try 28 count evenweave after my new glasses come in. Why do some people in our community try to make others feel less than if they don’t stitch on linen? I guess they don’t understand the limitations some people have. And a shop owner, too! She should have been encouraging and grateful for my patronage since this was an expensive kit. Eventually she sent me a piece of Aida but in a color that was at least 5 shades darker than what was designed for the kit. I’m talking not a cream or yellow but a rusty brown. I know I will never stitch this pattern, and I may never contact her shop again for anything. Thank you for your encouragement. I will continue to stitch what I love ❤️
So sorry to hear about your loss. Glad you are recovering from your kidney issues. You are so positive and encouraging to your viewers. We appreciate you sharing your talents with others ❤ We are headed to our first Amana retreat next spring. A highlight will be meeting you. I have so much and need nothing more, but I would ❤ the Keepsakes bag.
You are so fortunate to have Keepsakes as your LNS, if I ever get to that part of the country I would love to visit it! Thank you for the time you put into your videos and for sharing your talents and knowledge with us!
Dear Shellie, I am so sorry you were ill and thankful to see you feeling better. I have stitched so many pieces and hope that my daughter will cherish them as Keepsakes.
Keepsake! Oh, I know I won't win your bag but it's nice to anticipate it until it's announced. So sweet of you. You are Amazing! So glad you are feeling better. PTL! Sorry for the 2 family members who have graduated. I was thrilled to see your latest video today...You are my #1 Floss Tuber and Tiger Lily is my #2; no wonder you two are soul sisters. I watch each video several times! Praying specifically for you while officiating your step father's graduation celebration! Take care and thank you for the hard work you do to get these videos posted on You Tube! Love 'em.
Bless you dear one, hard times in our journey takes courage and Gods mighty strength. Congratulations on your stitching friends viewers. Love the stocking, stack, parsnip, locket, penny, blooms are wonderful keepsake..you are an encouraging person. Life takes courage, step up and take it on.
I was fortunate enough to snag a set of bags and pattern. I looked at them (so pretty), but I'm saving them as a Christmas present for myself😊. I had no idea Kari was tall-- she looks little (short) on camera! So sweet that the two of you are friends. I'm sorry you lost your stepfather 🙏. Last year, I had 6 funerals in 6 months-- it was rough. I love the look and admire those that stitch on linen, but it's not in my skill set. I'm perfectly okay with that! Thanks for encouraging us "non-linen" stitchers. You have such a kind and gentle spirit, and I enjoy your flosstubes so much!
Parsnip. Blooms. Keepsake. So sorry to hear of your lost love ones and your sickness. Thanks for taking the time to do a great flosstube...I'm A aida stitcher and needed your encouragement. I have dabbled with even weave and love the result. Have used silk for first time this year and enjoyed that too! Loved your WIPs! I will love watching those stockings come to life. I have enjoyed your videos from the beginning and have learned so much! All the best until we meet again! I wish you lived next door.
So sorry for your loss Shellie it’s hard to lose loved ones.❤️ I lost my dad over 7 years ago and my heart still and will always miss him. I’m glad you’re feeling better sorry you had a rough time after your trip.❤️ Love all your FFO’s and you and Kari are just having a wonderful time time so glad you both found each other. I follow both of you guys and you both inspire me so much I’ve been loving stitching hasn’t been that long maybe a year now since I started first with Aida then Lugana now I’m doing 36 ct linen. With both you and Kari and some others for the encouragement and finding floss tube I wouldn’t know what I was missing. Maybe one day I’ll try knitting I’ve always loved all the things in knitting and stitching❤️ Thank you so much for all you do for us and share your beautiful work. I’ll be praying for you and your family as you have your family’s memorial this coming week 🙏🙏🙏 Sending all my condolences stay strong and I know you will get through this with God beside you ❤️🙏🙏🙏🙏
Love your finishes. I'm glad to hear that you are feeling better. Prayers for you and your family as you cope with your loss. The Keepsake bundle is absoulutely beautiful.

Parsnip, stocking, blooms, keepsake. So sorry for your pain over the past few weeks. Thanks for another great video Shellie. Hugs and blessings on your coming week!
keepsake , blooms , parsnip , You have been my first cross stitch floss tube I've ever seen., and I just started stitching this year in Feb. I love your sweetness. You even encouraged me to do my own personalized cross stitch pattern. I'm a quilter as well (for 50 years), and feel the same as you about old quilts, you should see my hexie quilt all hand pieced.
We didn't have parsnips for supper, but I wish I had one. I imagine Stacey Nash makes better parsnips than I do. Thank you for your lovely videos. I'm so glad you are feeling better so you can give away a keepsake bundle!
Keepsakes .... I never miss an episode of your FT ... while I watch some others, I just felt a spiritual connection to yours from the first. Be blessed Shelly and thank you for sharing with all of us.
Thank you for your love of stitching and creating with your hands. You are so blest to be multi-talented. Glad you are back and recovered from the kidney stone. Take care. penny and parsnip
Thank you for that maker’s moment - I definitely have felt the stigma of stitching on Aida and stitching on lower counts. Stitching is love - period. That bag would make an amazing keepsake!
Parsnips are my favorite, locket is so awesome, stockings are also my favorite. You are such a great and inspiring lady. I can’t wait for all your videos
It was great to catch up with you today. So much beautiful stitching! I too will stitch on almost anything. All of the stockings I stitched fit my children and grandchildren are on Aida. I started in 1991 and I want them all to match. I love them because, like you said, they were stitched with a part of my heart. And, my children love them. They are definitely a keepsake. Parsnip locket. Happy Stitching! Olivia
May you have rest , peace, and heeling …. Your such a joy to watch I could watch you everyday , your such a genuine sweet soul and we think on the same level of people needing to be kinder to themself and I absolutely love stitching Aida I’ve never felt it was a “lesser “ cloth to stitch on not sure why others think linen is like the end all be all…. Be blessed in all you do , you are a keepsake ❤
Shellie I always look forward to your videos. You are such a blessing to this stitchy community! I am so glad you share your testimony of ministry. I also am an ordained minister. I know you will do a wonderful service for step father. Hugs and prayers for God’s anointing on you for the service. You know I wish close to a Keepsakes store. Here in Central Oregon we have to travel to Acorns and Threads our not so local shop. 3 and half hours away. Happy stitching.
Keepsake penny parsnip. Thank you for sharing the Amana retreat. I don’t travel anymore, but would love to go there. Prayers for family losses. You are so deserving of your subscribers!
Thanks for sharing the life updates, the sad and the glad. 10,000 is so well earned because we can see all the work you put into sharing with us. We have a new puppy that we named Penny, and I plan to make a stocking shaped locket to put a keepsake picture of her in where she is standing on a stack of parsnip blooms. 😅! Phew! I got that all in one sentence! The only part true was the puppy named Penny.😊 God Bless you Shellie
I was watching your video and your makers moment filled my heart with joy. You are so gracious and so caring. Happy you are feeling better now. I really miss you when you're not there. God bless and keep you ❤❤
I am so glad I found your channel. I really enjoyed watching this video. Thank you for reminding us that us Aida stitchers are worth something. When I started stitching 2 ¹/² yrs ago I felt so out of place when everyone else was stitching on linen or evenweave. I felt like a nobody but I quickly learned that our work is beautiful regardless of the fabric we use. Thank you for that reminder. Your work is beautiful. Your keepsake bundle is adorable.
Glad your feeling better and back with another flosstube. Sending condolences on the loss of your loved ones. You received some lovely keepsakes from that retreat.
Shellie, It is so wonderful to hear about how much fun you had with all your friends at the retreat. How fun to see all your gifts and purchases. You are a blessing to watch, love your sweet spirit! So, sorry to hear of your losses and your health issue. I will be praying for you and your family. Hoping for either Parsnip or Keepsake. Thank you for another great video.
First time watching, but will be back . I both of my parents have gone on to heaven..it wasn't a loss as I talk to them whenever I want and never get a busy signal. I have liked and subscribed. I can't wait for next video. Take care of yourself mentally and physically!
congrats on being so close to 10,000. I have been a viewer from the beginning and have so enjoyed being along for the ride. Many memories are so sweet to remember. One could say each is a keepsake locked in my heart. I was very encouraged on your commentary on aida cross stitchers. My eyesight is getting worse, so aida is my friend.
Shellie I am sorry for your loss and recent illness glad to hear you are feeling better. you are such a blessing to this community thank you for sharing your knowledge and talents I love your Keepsake bag the Locket with the Blooms they are all so beautiful
Shellie I love watching your floss tube. I get so excited waiting for your next one. You are such a keepsake to have in the floss tube world. Love you girl. Your stitching is beautiful as well as aspiring .
I am very sorry for the loss of your aunt and father-in-law. I just lost my sister of pancreatic cancer a few weeks ago, and it has been so difficult. Thinking of you and your family ❤Keepsake, parsnip

Oh my Keepsake! Thank you for your interesting floss tube, found out my grandma's hoops are collected. I keep all her things, even the unfinished tatting still on the hook. Thank you for teaching all of us.
So excited to see you back. But OMGOODNESS.. so happy you are better health wise. I so enjoy your posts and look fwd to them. I love stitching as it is MY happy place. The locket, stocking and keepsake flossbag are gorgeous. I was eyeing your keepsake set. Lucky recipients to get one. Your haul was AMAZING... as were your finishes and the lovely gifts you received. I also watch Tiger Lily.. her excitement shows through her posts as well. Be well Shellie and glad you are now a stitchy friend. My big bucket list is to eventually meet ALL my stitchy friends and floss tubers in person.. I can dream!!! 😊
What a wonderful flosstube! I’ve been following since the beginning and you are such an inspiration. Glad you are feeling better. Your bags and pattern would certainly be a keepsake.
Oh Shelly so sorry about you kidney infection. I just got over having a kidney stone. I know what you went thru. So glad you’re better. Thank you for sharing all your beautiful stitching and treasures. Loved them all🥰 Parsnip keepsake
So sorry for the loss your family has been experiencing. I pray for peace & comfort for all during this time. It is never easy. So thankful to this beautiful craft & the crafting community that bring peace and healing. -My keepsake locket broke while weeding my parsnip patch in the garden.
I just love your show. I am an Aida stitcher and how wonderful you gave us some love. You are so talented. Your bag is gorgeous and would definitely be a keepsake in my home. So sorry for your recent loss. Prayers are with you.
Geez Shelly, Permian of Copenhagen is THE DUTCH BEAUTY!!!!!! Look behind Bryn of Fox and Rabbit and. You will see it! What a truly remarkable and thoughtful gift. I can’t lot that for myself much less six tablemates. I have the chart. I’m working on my Pennies to get a bedsheet of linen and am picking up the dmc all along. Not many colors but a lot of it. That is such a wonderful gift. I haven’t been to a retreat but even if I could ever go I won’t. I can’t afford all the gifts. I’m blown away. But y’all that can go. I’m thrilled for you. Glad you are better. I too have suffered from kidney infections, had stents, the whole nine yards. Serious Stuff!
Another great video! Because of eye damage I am thankful to be able to stitch at all so I was happy for the encouragement. Mostly 14 count, on a good day maybe 16. Penny is so cute! I love anything with chickens. You have some beautiful keepsake quilts. Love the harvest moon! Sorry for your loss and prayers for you.
Parsnips. Keepsake. Harvest. Stocking. I just finished a Christmas stocking for my youngest grandson! Stack bloom. I hope you and your family have the merriest holiday ever!! God bless you all!
Shellie, I love it when I get my notification that your video is out,I set out to make time to watch the whole video at one time. I love your keepsake bundle. I be praying you reach your 10k subscribers, you deserve it we all love you so much.
I loved your today's video so much and love all of your videos. You are definitely at the top of the list of my favorite flosstubers and I look forward to each and every one of your episodes. Everything you said and everything you showed was absolutely spot on and stunning. You are amazing!!! Thank you so much for your words of encouragement and kindness regarding having confidence in our own stitching and making. My deepest condolences on the loss of your stepfather and aunt. Sending prayers and blessings to you and your family. The keepsake bag that you made is so beautiful and it's so evident that you put so much love and caring into each stitch. Also the lttle parsnip pattern is so sweet. Thank you so much for sharing another great video.
I love your videos and seeing the beautiful keepsake stockings that you made for your grandchildren, along with all of your other beautiful stitching. You are amazing!
A Stocking to stitch for my only granddaughter would just be awesomeness
Love how big your heart is and it’s such a Keepsake to hold so dearly.
Ohhhhh you are a keepsake! Your Shepards Bush stockings are gonna be beautiful ❤️ Always inspired after watching you!

Shellie I have been watching you from the start and enjoy your videos. You are a keepsake that makes me happy. Your bags are beautiful!
Keepsakes are so special and you truly are a keepsake to all of your subscribers.
Now I’m making a return to stitching
after 25 years and find that linen is extremely difficult and not enjoyable and that 16 count Aida is my sweet spot.
Enjoyed this video so very much! I don't care for parsnips, but I love Stacy Nash's design. Thank you for all you do and share.❤
You are so fortunate to have Keepsakes as your LNS, if I ever get to that part of the country I would love to visit it! Thank you for the time you put into your videos and for sharing your talents and knowledge with us!
Your stitching is as bright as your personality. Glad I found your flosstube
Dear Shellie, I am so sorry you were ill and thankful to see you feeling better. I have stitched so many pieces and hope that my daughter will cherish them as Keepsakes.
I really loved your Maker Moment because I agree that anything we stitch is a wonderful keepsake.
Wow so many beautiful fully finishes. Glad you are feeling better. Parsnip. Locket. Stocking. You are a keepsake in my book.
Thank you for such beautiful giveaways! Parsnips, blooms, stocking, keepsake, locket, stack, thank you!
Shelley…you are a keepsake kind of friend. Your heart is enormous. Wish I lived closer too! God bless you always.
Parsnip. Blooms.

I follow both of you guys and you both inspire me so much I’ve been loving stitching hasn’t been that long maybe a year now since I started first with Aida then Lugana now I’m doing 36 ct linen. Glad you are feeling better, Shelli. Having a bag your personally sewed would be a keepsake for me! God bless.
keepsake , blooms , parsnip , You have been my first cross stitch floss tube I've ever seen., and I just started stitching this year in Feb.
Love watching your videos. Thanks for making them. The love the project bags you made for Keepsake. Your enthusiasm is contagious!
Loved the video, it warmed my heart the way you spoke to the aida stitchers. I'm one of those thank you so much. Big hugs.
parsnip locket keepsake Oh my goodness you have such a huge heart! Thank you for allowing us all a peek!
Parsnip and Keepsakes. I am so excited for you 10,000 subscribers!!
Olivia
Shelley I love the keepsake. I can't believe you made 302 bags, that is amazing to me. I love the work you do.
I'm so sorry that you've been sick and lost your step dad. May God give you the peace and strength you'll need in the upcoming days and months.
Shellie, you are so wonderful. I can’t wait for each of your flosstubes. Parsnip, Locket, Stocking, Keepsake

Thank you for generously sharing your talent with all of us, especially with such a keepsake bag! 💕🪡🧵
