Sir I have a Question from time and work: If P and Q work together, they will complete a job in 7.5 days. However, if P works alone and completes half the job and then Q takes over and completes the remaining half alone, they will be able to complete the job in 20 days. How long will Q alone take to do the job if P is more efficient than Q?

16:30 with unit method total = 180 (lcm 18, 10 ,15) A+B = 18 unit(180/10) B+C= 10 unit so, A+2B+C = 28 unit o A+2B=28-C as per question 5A+10B+15C= 180 or A+2B+3C = 36 or 28-C+3C=36 or 2C=8 or C= 4 therefore days required = 180/4 = 45 days

28:04 It can be solve with unit method in 10 -15 sec total - 24 unit( lcm of 8, 6 ,3) Per day work by : A - 4 (24/6) , B- 3 (24/8) , A+B+C - 8 (24/3) so c alone do 8-(4+3) = 1 unit So the wages of C would be [600 X(1/8)] = 75 rs

Three identical inlet pipes were opened at 6:00 AM to fill up an empty container. At 8:30 AM, 2 identical pipes (having different rate from existing pipe’s rate) are also opened. At 9:30 AM, it still required 1 more hour for all these pipes to fill up the remaining 30 m3 of water. If each of the 2 pipes which were added at 8:30 AM can individually fill up the empty container in 40 hours, then the capacity of the container is ____________ m3. Sir please slove this and help me..
32:20 It can also be solved in 15- 20 sec in unit method very simply total - 24 (lcm of 8 and 3) per day work in unit : A- 24/8 = 3 , B- (-24/3) = -8 so A+B = 3 - 8 = -5 So as per the question A worked for 4 days = (4 X 3) = 12 unit and , A+B worked for 2 days = (-5 x 2) = - 10 unit work done so far = 12- 10 = 2 unit , remaining work = 24-2 = 22 unit so A have to work for (22/3) days to finish the work

37:15 it can also be solve within 10 sec total work 210 unit work done by 15 man per day is 1 unit , so after 10 days remaining work is 210- (10 x1) = 200 unit next 15 man with double eff , they can do (1X2) = 2 unit per day So all 30 man can do 2+1 = 3 unit per day ,, therefore the remaining work will take 200/3 = 66.67 days therefore the total work will take 10+ 66.67 = 76.67 days

and to find out the resultant of a particular row you need to follow the following steps: Step 1: If an odd number is followed by an odd composite number then the resultant will be the addition of two numbers. Step 2: If an even number is followed by an even number then the resultant will be the subtraction of both the numbers. Step 3: If an even number is followed by an odd number then the resultant will be the remainder obtained by dividing the larger number with the smaller number. Step 4: If an odd number is followed by an odd prime number then the resultant comes by multiplication of both the numbers. Step 5: If an odd number is followed by a number divisible by 4 then the resultant will be the quotient obtained by dividing the larger number with the smaller number. Step 6: If an odd number is followed by an even number not divisible by 4 then the resultant comes by addition of both the numbers. Hello, i just a have a doubt in the question at 23:47 minute and same in question at 32.36 minute. In former you calculated C's work as 6X2=12 days (i.e by inversing remaining work 1/6 as 6) but in latter question you too 11/12 remains work as it is to find A's complete work as (11/12)X8. Shouldn't it be (12/11)X8 (as in the former question). Please clarify this doubt. Thanks in advance.

Please ans this

No one is born with 100% accuracy. Take only the positive. Dont point out some one for small small reasons.
by using Sir method iam getting ans : 13/120
Equation = 2(2A + B + C )

16:30 with unit method
total = 180 (lcm 18, 10 ,15)
A+B = 18 unit(180/10)
B+C= 10 unit
so, A+2B+C = 28 unit o A+2B=28-C
as per question 5A+10B+15C= 180 or A+2B+3C = 36 or 28-C+3C=36 or 2C=8 or C= 4
therefore days required = 180/4 = 45 days
Hello sir ,
Thanks for precious teaching
I am studying for UPSC I came across many videos on TH-cam I found it and right choice is your videos
Thanks sir and may God bless you
28:04 It can be solve with unit method in 10 -15 sec
total - 24 unit( lcm of 8, 6 ,3)
Per day work by : A - 4 (24/6) , B- 3 (24/8) , A+B+C - 8 (24/3) so c alone do 8-(4+3) = 1 unit
So the wages of C would be [600 X(1/8)] = 75 rs
27:20 it can also be solve in 10 sec with this method

Sir please slove this and help me..
Brother your concept of teaching is different from others. Indeed I like your style of teaching. Keep it up.
thats the only video i have found who really deals with cocept and other technique of solving this type question
by watching your video i started preparing for IB Great sir!
32:20 It can also be solved in 15- 20 sec in unit method very simply
total - 24 (lcm of 8 and 3)
per day work in unit : A- 24/8 = 3 , B- (-24/3) = -8 so A+B = 3 - 8 = -5
So as per the question A worked for 4 days = (4 X 3) = 12 unit
and , A+B worked for 2 days = (-5 x 2) = - 10 unit
work done so far = 12- 10 = 2 unit ,
remaining work = 24-2 = 22 unit
so A have to work for (22/3) days to finish the work
thankx a lot sir. i paid 20k and joined a worst coaching class for mba cet and those teachers dint teach well. i started refering your videos for quant and LR and things became so easy.i refer your videos to all my frnds which is helping them to. just a thank u is also very small for the efforts teachers like you take to help the students.

Dear Sir, Ur teaching style is so simple and so nice... Thank u sir
37:15 it can also be solve within 10 sec
total work 210 unit
work done by 15 man per day is 1 unit , so after 10 days remaining work is 210- (10 x1) = 200 unit
next 15 man with double eff , they can do (1X2) = 2 unit per day
So all 30 man can do 2+1 = 3 unit per day ,, therefore the remaining work will take 200/3 = 66.67 days
therefore the total work will take 10+ 66.67 = 76.67 days
U made easy for us sir ...tanq so much sir
before I used leave this topic but now I was searching that question to solve ....

P and Q can complete a work in 15 days and 10 days respectively. They started the work together and then Q left after 2 days. P alone completed the remaining work. The work was finished in --- days.
Sir you have no idea how much helpful you are to us. Sir do in whatever way you like but cover each quant chapter before IBPS PO. Thank you :)
A takes twice the time taken by B and thrice the time taken by c to do a particular piece of work.working together, they can complete the work in2days.find the number of days taken byA,B and c respectively to complete the work alone.
and to find out the resultant of a particular row you need to follow the following steps:
Step 1: If an odd number is followed by an odd composite number then the resultant will be the addition of two numbers.
Question 38

Seven different boxes P, Q, R, S, T, U and V contain seven different fruits namely viz., Guava, Apple, Banana, Mango, Pomegranate, Plum and Orange are arranged one above the other. The box at the bottom of arrangement is numbered 1, the above box is numbered 2 and so on. Box V does not contain Guava. Q is immediately above T. The box which contains the Mango is immediately below P. Only one box is between the Guava box and U. V is immediately above the Plum box. More than two boxes are above the box that contains Guava. Only two boxes are between the Apple box and the box that contains Oranges. Only two boxes are between the box which contains the yellow-colour fruit(not Banana) and the box which contains Guava. The box filled with Banana is neither at the top nor at the bottom of the arrangement. Only one box is between Q and the box which one is filled with Apples. Q is placed above the Apple box. R is placed immediately above U. Neither R nor V contains Mango.
Your teaching methodology was awesome sir

Eight persons - A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H are from different cities - Gurgaon, Kochi, Darjeeling, Agra, Shimla, Chennai, Srinagar and Mumbai but not necessarily in the same order. They have their birthdays in different months - January, September, May, August, November, December, February and April, but not necessarily in the same order.
C is from Kochi. B has his birthday in a month having 31 days and D has his birthday in a month having less than 31 days. E’s birthday month is not in first three months. The one from Chennai has his birthday in either April or August. The one from Mumbai has its birthday in a month immediately after the one from Chennai as the order given for months. C’s birthday month is before A’s birthday month but not February. B is not from Shimla. The one from Srinagar has his birthday in a month less than 31 days but before August. H’s birthday is in month having 31 days but not in January and he is not from Agra. The one from Gurgaon has its birthday in a month before the one from Srinagar as the order given for months. G’s birthday month has 30 days but after April. F is from Agra but his birthday is not the last month. The one from Darjeeling has not his birthday in December.

good question though
sir super sir u r only clearly teaching a topic very nice Sir I really understand all concept
I have this doubt...can anyone explain this

you work as a great mentor of mine let see when the change will come i am a student from my bro account
Sir in your one of above video,
A can do a piece of work in 10 days, while B can do it in 15 days. They work together for 5 days & rest of the work done by C in 2 days. If they get 450 for whole work, how should they divide the money?
In ans remaining work = 1 - 5/6
= 1/6
C alone = 6 * 2= 12 days.
How is this sir?
It should have been 2/ 6 = 1/3 = 3 days.
Please ans this
Thank You Satheesh Sir for uploading this video,
Happy Bday Sir(Teachers' Day)
