Cody. Question for you. So my pressure switch is bad and I have the Remco 7gpm 100psi pump. Can I get the switch from Amazon and do you know the part number? My first time dealing with this. Thank you
I ruined my pressure switch by short cycling the pump and it didnt take long. When I replaced it I wired in an automotive DC relay so that the pressure switch only has a tiny amount of current going through it and the motor current goes through the relay. I took the old pressure switch apart and found remco is using cheesy AC micro switch. Switching dc current is much harder on contact so the fact that their not using DC rated switches explains why they have like zero tolerance to short cycling.
What drives me nuts is the plastic elbow leaking on the pressure side of the Remco Fatboy 7gpm pump. Being a pressed in elbow fitting with just a small o-ring for the seal doesn’t seem like there is much I can do to fix this reoccurring problem.

Motor up means if the pump head ever Leaks, it won’t leak into the electric motor portion.

Hit it with wd40.
It’ll swell the o ring
