Yes thats a good idea. The boxes just seem to be getting better and better and now even Apple had to release their new 4K box. TV boxes are very popular and in high demand. Expect a lot more TV boxes coming soon.
Nice review Chigz. It looks solid. I know the benchmark scores shouldn't be the only factor when buying an android box. Were you disappointed in the overall score?
Not disappointed at all, as all TV boxes over 35K benchmark are pretty good in performance. My main TV box use to be the TX5 pro and I used that for 8 months and its still working great. So this Z69 Plus is an awesome box with plenty of storage and great performance.

I hate seeing those "White USB ports", I wish there was a way to test the transfer speed of the ports. I see that your one "Con" is that it doesn't have a Blue USB 3 port. The USB ports are color coded for a reason, White USB 1, Black USB 2, Blue USB 3: if these ports are truly USB 2 they should be Black, the difference between transfer rates from USB 1 at 12 Mb/s to USB 2 at 480 Mb/s is a huge difference. There is also the possibility that a USB 3 device 'Will Not" communicate with a USB 1 device, an example or a around about test might be to see if the box can communicate with a USB 3 external hard drive.
Funny I had Fire TV Box 2 and honestly could not tell the difference in performance over my Bee-Link GT1 Ultimate. And technically it is 50% faster based on Benchmarks. Referring to Using in Kodi 17.4 using Cosmic Saints 4K Build.
The performance will not be obvious until you actually do something graphic intensive like playing a game, 3D graphics, loading 3D movies, Multi-tasking, the speed of installing apps etc. General operation and Kodi will not show you the difference.

Doesn't this come with 4K movies built-in already or do I need a flash drive that has 4K saved in it
No TV box comes with 4K movies or any movies, you have to subscribe to Netflix, Hulu or there are some free services like TH-cam and Kodi etc.
Do they have this on Amazon cuz I checked and they have different ones they got the 6.0 I didn't see anything with 7.1.2

Id say up to or right at 100 bucks should be enough to get a decent box.
For up-to $100 I would recommend the Zidoo H6 Pro or X92.

Yes I know what you mean, I think USB 3.0 should be standard now in all TV boxes and USB 1 should not even exist.

I would say this is more or less the same as the TX8 Max, similar price too. But 64GB seems like a better deal to me.
