In general what is so beautiful about this is that are so many younger people who have never heard anything like this before in their lives. She is going to be solely responsible to bring back jazz to the forefront of music and she will reign as the Queen.

Most of her fans, including me, love her live performances more than her studio productions in general. But this acoustic, jazzy version is an exception, IMO. It's a Masterpiece & is easily my favorite version of the several other versions that I've heard. When she's in her jazz pocket, she's delicious!

🤗. I'm not over any of this yet, days later. It's like I got my favorite from my Siren for 2 minutes, I used to go to "You Say" for those low slow notes, still will sometimes, it's a bit lower. This is an amazing rendition of Bad Valentine and I count the 4th version, which on its own is probably one of the best jazz songs to hit the market in the last 30 yrs. My guess is Angelina will put this song to bed in shoet order with an even more incredible performance. It will be a pattern for many yrs to come ! I think in the end she may go down as the best ever at this pace ! What many don't realize is she is not only a great singer, i think structurally understands jazz inside and out and has amazing instincts for arranging and constructing songs! Obviously a great song writer at an early age as well, think will go onto to ve an amazing producer for others as well. Unstoppable really! Its her time for many yrs to come, and to top it all off an amazing humanitarian as well as being down to earth!

She literally left me breathless, I love Angie and I am more and more in awe of her unstoppable musical evolution, I would never have expected that at her age she had already reached such a stratospheric level of vocal perfection. What she creates in that indescribable jazz version is absolutely astonishing, even for the apparent ease with which she does it, in fact the instrumental accompaniment is little more than a simple pleasant decoration, her voice alone is enough to reproduce the emotional effect of an entire orchestra. This is the bomb! Among many heart-stopping and memorable performances over the last 12 years, this is the greatest so far. Toby's poignant piano underpinning Angelina's unique voice - unbeatable. Now all we need is a great video to support this. Angelina singing in or near a flashy red sports car will not do it for the masses. We need to see the about-to-be-spurned boyfriend in a suit, looking nervous at the candlelit table for two, with a loaded champagne bucket waiting, checking his watch; Angelina dressed up to kill, taking in the scene, pausing some seconds, then turning away from the restaurant door; her leaning over the nearby lakeside railings, moonshine above, musing her decision, throws her lapel flower in the water, and strolls away; the dejected guy finally calling the waiter and cancelling the table, then slinking off on his slow walk home. Put the visual story with this performance, and it goes nuclear.

With Jimmy Z playing the harmonica , He played saxophone for Etta James for 16 years, Etta was Angelina's Idol ?
