Hey Michelle!!!! My mother had that exact hand mixer!!! Thanks so much for sharing!!! Awe the baby is perfect!!! I miss my grandgirl being that little.
Your grand kids are so sweet I love being a grandma to. I think my fav is the double egg cups and the golden maple server. I always look forward to the next haul.
Im so glad about you reaching 10,000 Congratulations! I've been telling everyone about you on the different fb groups I'm on. You're a world of knowledge and everyone should be watching you. Your the reason i started reselling, its going pretty good. Im on etsy, mercari, poshmark, some higher price items on Ebay. Im busy. At lrast busy to me lol. Thx again!! Heres to the next 10,000, and I'll keep spreading the word!! 😊😊take care xoxo
Oh my gracious Michelle, the girls are growing so fast!!! They are adorable. I am so glad you got to spend some time with time again. My favorites from this haul were the Pixie bookends of course and the golden maple covered dish. I've never seen that pattern before but I fell in love at first sight. Thank you for another great haul and lesson. ~Pamela
I love anything pink, so of course the bowl is one of my favorites. You’re grand baby girls are adorable, God bless them. And such a good lil mommy to check her baby when she hit the grass, too sicken cute! Just opened my first antique booth and you and a few other TH-camrs are AWESOME!!! I’ve learned so much from you. Still struggling with trying to price things. I watch you guys and I’m usually guess pretty good at what you’ll be selling items and then in my antique mall they just seem so out of price. And I live on Long Island with a pretty big rent. What’s the best advice you can recommend to me? Any and all suggestions are hugely appreciated! Thanks again for sharing and being a great teacher! CONGRATULATIONS 🎊 on 10,000!!!! You both do such excellent and time consuming hard work to make these videos for us, and again thanks! I love learning about these wonderful vintage items, so much fun. Take care and I’ll see you in your next video.😊
Thanks Kim! Coming from CT. I understand high rental rates! It is so hard these days to sell beautiful vintage items. I have recently that the best items these days are 1970's/80's. The younger people find this retro style fun and people of my age like to have some items that bring back memories. Ofcourse its all about the pricing..so check what others are asking in your antique mall and then try to price abit under, also look for items that no one else is selling. Good luck xo
Thanks for the info. 70-80s items here I come! That makes total sense. I have way too many ceramic tchotchkes from the 50s that are just sitting there looking pretty, but not moving. Thanks for the advice!
Missed the contest will have to try to enter at the 20,000!!! Person! Love all the beautiful glass here! Lefton, Johnson brother's, I also have the mixer with a stand, love the China too!love glassbak but saving that collection for another day!Great haul! Platter was an awesome find! Please. Make a video of the winners prize!! Would love to see what they won! Sherri
Hi there, Michelle! Thanks for the information on Glasbake. I've passed by several pieces over the past couple of years. That covered vegetable bowl is elegant and would dress up a table setting. Ahoy, matey on the Wacco (sp?)
Thrifting 101...Identify & Buy! Vintage Glassware Wow, never thought to paint a refrigerator! And that’s why you have a channel and we sit back, learn and enjoy. Thanks😊
I love lots of items in this haul. The elf book ends, pitcher & bowl is gorgeous, beautiful Fenton piece! I have the entire set of winter berry dishes including all of the extra serving pieces... my mom worked at Phaltzgraff for many years 😁😘. Your granddaughters are precious!
Hi! I'm glad I found you. You're a great teacher. I sell mostly soft goods and clothes on ebay and have so much china and glass that I want to sell but I'm not because it's too hard to ship. I will ship one glass or 2 plates and small bowls but groups of glasses and large breakable things baffle me. It seems like no matter how big the box it's not big enough to prevent it from breaking when it's thrown around trucks and shipping long distance costs more than the item. I don't see how you can give free shipping. Do you have a video on how to pack glasses? I see you sell them on ebay with free shipping! How can you make money if someone 3,000 miles away buys them? USPS is going up again this month on June 23rd. Thank You for sharing all your knowledge. I'm looking forward to learning from you. BTW, you have a beautiful family.
thank you so very much! you are smart to sell "soft goods" lol...As far as free shiping, I decide what I need to make on an item and add the shipping into that equation. Flate rate means that I know in advance exactly what the cost will be. That being said china is certainly not worth what it once was...kids don't want it and I just have to wait for the right buyer xo :).
Yes, it's painful watching depression glass, McCoy pottery and fancy china that was "out of my league" growing up (I'm 65) become worthless with the internet and this generation only interested in MCM. I love MCM but there's more to life than MCM. hahhaa I'm learning what sells from people like Tina on Gemini Thrifts and it's modern holiday junk made in China that sells for hundreds of dollars on ebay. I'm trying to go with the flow and it's cool selling stuff I don't want to keep. I just need to be comfortable shipping it and it looks like you're comfortable shipping. I don't do free shipping on anything over 15.9 ounces because I'm on the West coast it's so expensive to ship to the East coast. I want to know how you're so confident shipping! That would be a popular video. It's got to be fun and easy or it's not worth doing. That's my reselling motto. Thanks again.@@thrifting101...identifybuy3
Yeah...I need to start selling things to make me some money...most of what I sell I just make a bit off of and the reason I buy interesting items is for the videos...so its kinda a catch 22 for me lol...That being said about free ship, I do flate rate...one price and you know how much it cost it is one price :) xo
@@thrifting101...identifybuy3 Do you mean you use the USPS flat rate boxes? They're not big enough to ship most of my stuff. Is there another way to do flat rate in our own boxes??? And making money is FUN!
I only sell very heavy boxed items occasionally, best to break up lots into smaller boxes. That being said here is what I do.....weigh your package, add a few pounds over that for packing, see what it would cost to the farthest address...e.i. Cali to NY and use add that price into your listing. If someone offers you a lower price make sure that that would also include a lower shipping cost and SELL IT! xo :)
I found some beautiful salt and pepper shakers by Lefton today. They were reduced from $3 to 99 cents at my local thrift store. If I had not watched your channel, I never would have picked them up. They are in immaculate condition. I can't wait to research the pattern.
Hey Grace...that's wonderful!!! So funny I had a pair of salt and pepper shakers in my had today at GW and I was like..I know this pattern..but I couldn't remember so I left them behind...went home and remembered they were LEFTON...so ugh will go back tomorrow....good for you Grace...xo :) What pattern?
I will be packing your box up Monday!! If you have any favorites....e.i. milk glass, carnival glass, vintage china or whatever let me know and I can pack different things custom to you likes!! xo

Thanks Steve...I also start commenting on videos as I watch them! The mixer worked so well that if I don't sell it I will keep it...probably last a lifetime as they don't make em like they used too! xo :)
