The classic random beatdown deck made me smile. When I was young I got most of my cards from the packs that came in the tins I would get as gifts, rather than booster boxes, so I didnt have enough cards that worked together to make cohesive decks. Most of my decks ended up looking something like that. This kinda makes me want to make a goat format deck around metal armored bug, one of my favorite cards back then
My favorite decks thus far: Lockdown Burn: There are so many different burn variations that you can come up with. Spatial Collapse: Ground Collapse always intrigued me as a kid and this deck is built around not allowing your opponent from playing cards. It's a lockdown that can be nigh impossible to break. Deckout: Getting decked out is a very rare sight. Beastdown: My go to if I want to play a more aggressive deck. Bugroth: A combination of Water and Machine aggro. Clown Control: I love decks that are built to be annoying and Clown Control does exactly that. Pairing up Dream Clown with Banisher of the Light and banishing monsters every turn is so fun.
The cutoff is the cards that were legal for the YCS Indianapolis in August 2015. Fusion Sage was close to the cutoff, but it was still legal. @@lavendertown8883

i play a selfmade Monarch deck with BLS! and i love Mirage Dragon! people sleep on the Card! so strong !
Pair Dark paladin with mirage dragon and jar of greed for both spell and trap negation and ATK boost!
