- I started my tour from Varanasi on 2nd August 2022, after visiting Varanasi. I was very curious to visit Sonbhadra, as July to August is the best to visit. Waterfalls become so active, scenic views get enhanced by multifold during the monsoon time. But this time due to lack of rain in Uttar Pradesh that charm was missing.
This was our last day of the tour, video was shot on 9th August 2022 following are the activities we did throughout the day.
Rihand Dam - This dam is about 160 km from varanasi. Built across the rihand river in renukoot. Sonbhadra district has so many power plants which is why it is referred to as energy capital of India.
Shri Renukeshwar Mahadev Mandir - This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva & Goddess parvati, This beautifully designed temple is also known as Birla temple, as it is constructed by Birla group.
Bajrangi Dhaba - We had lunch at this dhaba, Dehati paneer, Mushroom & Kofta, this dhaba is located on the main highway near Robertsganj.
Mukkha falls - This waterfall is located 50 km from Robertsganj, Sonbhadra district.
Shri Ram Bhandar - Located at mint house, quite a popular sweet shop in varanasi, we tried the Malai gilori, Tirangi.
Krishna Paan - Before leaving varanasi, wanted to try paan as the taste of paan you get in varanasi, you will not get anywhere else. I tried the regular paan & Maghai leaf paan at this shop.
During this tour we could not visit many spots, which you can visit when you are on this route.
Next video you will be seeing our Chittorgarh & Udaipur Series.

Triranga burfi was patriotic, which you've shown even 75years after independence. Good concept Unique 👍
उत्तर प्रदेश बहुत खूबसूरत है 🙏🏻🇮🇳

You could have extended this trip to 50-100 km more beyond Renukoot, on same single road, that leads you to Obra, Anpara, Bina, Shaktinagar, singrauli, especially to ANPARA, which is having bigger collection of some of India’s biggest thermal power plant and biggest open coal mines and Rihand dam’s lake named sardar sarovar lake…. One more funfact, Gangs of Wasepur was shoot in many of these locations.
No, Rihand's lake is named as Govind Ballabh Pant Sagar
Yes went to visit from Varanasi to Anpra once it was lovely experience long drive green forest all was great

Feeling nostalgic after watching this. I lived in Obra and Anpara during school days. It was not so developed then, but it was still amazing. Back then there were hardly any hotels or eating places. That area is full of waterfalls, we used to go for picnics regularly. Rihand dam looks majestic and it's lake is very large, just water, water everywhere. When the dam gates are opened you get to see the full force of the water element. The old bridge in the background got washed away once when the gates were opened, watched it happen, and it is an unforgettable memory. Just so, so glad to see this video. Sonebhadra has a unique charm that no other place can match upto.
Hi
I used to live in obra sec 9

Fully loved and enjoyed this video where you showed us Rihand Dam, Mukkha Falls, VIEW POINT, Bajrangi Chaba where you ate Dehaati Paneer. First time hearing the name of this dish. Got to know the names of 3 new sweets Kheer Mohan, Malai GILLORI, Tiranga Burfi. Last but not the least Shrirang Paan Shop Where you enjoyed eating two different types of paan. You give plenty of information and knowledge about the places you are visiting. I got the full enjoyment of virtually travelling with you. Harish ji you are simply great. All the Best.

Thank u soo much yeh series leke aane keliye Sir 🙏🙏.Bahot enjoy Kiya iss series ko bhi.

Sir, we are scheduled to visit Varanasi 10 days later. I have heard that the Ganga levels have gone up again disrupting ganga aarti and boating. Given your presence there, it'll be great if you can put an update for all your followers and travel enthusiasts. Your videos have been highly informative for me to plan my journey, nevertheless.

Soooo beautiful,I want to live beside that dam,❤️but near a jalabees shop!..😋😋🙋🏻♀️love from Ireland..
