- For this edition of The Track, we try something a little different. London-based producer Marc JB invites us down to the beach and challenges himself to build an Ambient House track from scratch in his portable camper van studio.
The Track continues in every issue of Future Music magazine.

all these edm producers in luxurious studios and don't know how to use a compressor, meanwhile this guy is in a van for a studio, and knows his stuff backwards and forwards.

I kept thinking it seemed kinda like a kid's show, but one that doesn't really "talk down" to the kids. Cooking show is probably closer, though.

This guy needs to get a Sennheiser 418s so he can do MS stereo, I think it could be interesting to have control on how much wide the stereo should be in this kind of music, maybe even do some crazy automation ;) and the windshield it's small cause it's made for the ORTF Stereo Microphone MSTC 64 U from Schoeps and other mics like that :)
***** MS effort? After producing a lot of football and hockey matches in 5.1 with 20-25 mics just for the ambient sound, this is too easy XD

I have been a long time subscriber to you're magazine. Recently i have
tried to play the DVD disks on my computer. And they seem to not recognize
on my imac computer? None of them. I was trying to watch one of my favorite
issues FM#252 with Dom Kane. And the disk wont even come up on my
computer..i don't understand what is going on. They used to work just fine.
Please help as these i go back and watch them ritually with all of the
Vidal information on them from a professional point of view. They really
help me progress the more i watch them.

I saw this when I got last month's magazine, didn't interest me so didn't watch it. Silly error on my part as this has been one of my favourite 'The Track' videos.

arguably the worst video from future music, boring as hell and really stale stuff, not a single killer technique
