- It took me quite a few time to finish this amazing piece by duke of pianeet. I didn't know much about him very early since he is quite an active pianist on Niconico ever since 2007.
And, for myself, this piano cover is a breakthrough. Actually I fell into trough after I finished Animenz's unravel and I just wonder whethter I can do even better piano covers since I'm asking myself to do better and better. Finally, I did it.
Anyway, I want to show my very respect to pianeet ,and, all the anime pianists he who provided us so many wonderful sheets. Hope you enjoy it! See you next time.

I wanted to learn this piece a long long time ago but I gave up since I didn't persevere and stick to it. I'm glad to see that you've managed to complete it!
There are parts that sound like they could be up to tempo and a few more parts that needed a bit more practice in terms of accuracy, however... All-in-all, this was a splendid performance, especially from 4:00 to the end. Only those aforementioned critiques are the ones I have, otherwise, keep challenging and playing! You've done well.

You really played it well the way he wanted it be played. Pianeet' arrangements are so brilliant. The problem is, there are only a handful of people express his intention in which the third and even forth hand appear sometimes when you listen to them with your eyes closed. I think you will be able to play "【MOSAIC_WAV】 AKIBA-POP the Future - piano solo" with a little practice if you interested.

James really did a great job, but still a distance to go comparing with duke of pianeet. Like the three hand part starts from 2:47 and many details for other parts

Just curious, not to be mean, did you speed up the video? I feel the speed of hands falling on piano is faster than I think.
If you want to play more difficult anime piano, you should look into Chris Luan's channel and FB page for his technically-demanding arrangements.
Dang, nice job! This is a Pianeet arrangement I've been interested in playing in the future. I wonder, what were some of the biggest technical difficulties for you?
+OrangeSodaKing there are several voice parts going on at the same time, so it is difficult to keep every part clear and get a sense of "hierarchy"

pianeet's is much better in terms of emotions and variation. this one sounds kind of dry imo. also im planning to upload a cover of it soon too so maybe look out for it aha xD

the thing is animenz' video is of a super popular song from a super popular anime. it also has higher video and audio quality. it is also his own arrangement. this is a cover of pianeet's arrangement (covers of other people's arrangements are always less popular)
i really like this piece (learning it right now). but honestly speaking, i still don't even know what idolm@ster is, and have no clue what the original song sounds like because i cannot find the proper "m@ster" version anywhere on youtube... so i think that pretty much shows the popularity of this piece and the (anime?) it is from is not very popular at all lol
Well the piece doesn't seem ultra popular (far from the popularity of Unravel at least lol) but Idolm@ster is actually very popular in Japan, as Love Live for example!

PianoPrinceOfAnime Well, I think this need some basic skills and abilities which need years's of practice(or just abundant practice) and one day you will finally found this doable. A small tip is keep relax when doing those fast runs.

You should think of lessening the sound of your left hand, the voice of the accompaniment is louder than melody, it's overwhelmimg the melody. But that aside everything is cool!!
