- Long time no see, I'm back from my recent ear problem, and also I decided to work more on my own arrangements. I was really inspired by the words Animenz said during his trip in Shanghai- I will have to begin my arrangements and finish it- whenever you think it is good or not , it is perfect or not. So It just begins, this is maybe what I can arrange best now, but I will finally reach a higher level in the future as long as I don't stop arranging.
As I have mentioned at my facebook, I just finished this not too new anime SAO and made this arrangement. Generally, this arrangement is strictly refer to the original song- I listen to those different voices of different instruments and try to realize them by my hands on the piano. So there was some big jumps in the first verse. And for the chorus I just just some common left hand patterns and also give those melodies on my right hand. And for the second verse, I also use 3-hand tech which is inspired by the idea I got from original songs at the first verse. And also, a little change on my patterns when I do 2nd verse and chorus.
And for the bridge and 3rd chorus, I also have problems- how I can arrange them better, and actually I'm not too satisfied with them. Anyway, I just finish my arrangement and look forwards.
Sorry for not perfectly recorded since I made a mistake and I can not use the piano in my school for longer time today (Someone else also made a reservation for the room)

When I heard you performing this piece during my masterclass a few days ago, I couldn't believe my ears.
I was like "holy shit, this is almost how I would have arranged this song. Just like this. The Inclusion of additional voices, the imitation of the drum beats in the left hand, the variations for the second verse, a "lyrical" style last chorus... it's perfect."

This is qutie exactly how I would have play this song if I had your skills. That's a perfect left hand with drum beats, and not only because animenz said but because I think that this is what makes the structure of the song. You did such a freaking good job with that song, that's astonishing ! I'm looking forward to listen more of your covers !

First of all, you shouldn't compare your playing to other people, it'll never do any good for you no matter what. Second, you know that you can get just as good as him if you just practise every day? What made him so good at piano wasn't that he was born excellent on the piano, he worked every day to get better at playing the piano, and he's been playing for a long-ass time, if I remember correctly.
I got curious so I checked out your channel as well. Have more confidence on yourself! I listened to your songs and your playing is really sweet. Also being a pianist makes me understand more or less how you fells, haha. When I look at these guys making crazy left hand jumps and composing their own arrangements I think like "Wow, this is so amazing I wish I could do that" and I sometimes get a little sad about not being able to do it. But I believe that, with proper time, practice and determination, anyone can learn to do these amazing things that look impossible at first. That motivates me to practice more and more everyday, so one day I'll get there. :)

Great work with this arrangement. I cannot get over the voicing starting at 1:32. It sounds like Pianeet-level harmonization (a la AKIBA Pop the Future). Keep up the effort! If possible, you can consider sharing your sheets on other platforms such as Sheethost.
