MPN Hero Bob Rosen: Tireless Advocate for MPN Patients

Bob Rosen, an industrious figure in the Chicago real estate world, was diagnosed with polycythemia vera (PV) in 1997. He was an MPN Hero who knew what it meant to live with a rare blood cancer. He devoted his life to furthering MPN research and founded the MPN Research Foundation. Though Bob started with a shoestring budget, he spent the rest of his life directing millions of dollars to MPN-focused scientific research. A true MPN Hero to the end, Bob passed away in early 2018 but he is survived by his loving family and his legacy as a relentless advocate for patients with MPNs.
