The early seasons of South Park are so nostalgic. I don't mind that an entire season follows the same story but I kinda miss when each episode was self-contained. The lower resolution and simpler aethetics of the earlier episodes also had a unique charm that is lacking nowadays.
Nice list, man! My top ten shows: 1.) Mr. Robot 2.) The Sopranos 3.) Better Call Saul 4.) i really am liking the diversified content. also yes heroes was so freakin good man thank you for mentioning it. The show i recommend is The Batman 2004-2008. It is a show for kids, so it retreads some stuff from the previous series, but i think does a good job feeling like a modern feeling take of a batman cartoon, despite it being 20 years old next september. also the x files is awesome still, especially with all this alien news shit goin on it is perfect

Hey Ryan, I have a manga suggestion if you wouldn’t mind. It’s a manga called Bokurano regarding 15 children, a giant robot and the fate of their world. It’s not a long read and I think you’d appreciate its unique story elements. Looking forward to your future upload!

Sons of anarchy Honorable mentions Black sails Attack on titan Prison break The Americans Sopranos Handmaids tale Stranger things Yellowstone Fargo Barry Mad men Better call Saul Bojack horseman Hannibal Invincible
Honorable mentions: Arcane; The Boys; Cobra Kai; Vikings; Prison Break; Barry; Band of Brothers 10 - Daredevil (Best superhero show, despite loving the Boys. The 3 seasons come together really well with a great conclusion) 9 - Severance (The show has so much potential. The concept alone is very unique and intriguing. Season 1 was amazing) 8 - Black Sales (The best realistic pirate story. It was surpricingly great) 7 - The Bear (This is like Kitchen Nightmares but with characters growth and more intensity. Season 2 was really amazing) 6 - Peaky Blinders (Fenomenal Gangster story, Cillian Murphy best perfomance, it would be higher if the final season wasn't a bit disappoint) 5 - Better Call Saul (Incredible worthy prequel. In terms of writing it's as good as Breaking Bad, and the cinematography is even better. The only think that makes a little bit inferior is that the story isn't quite as compelling.) 4 - Dark (The more I think about it, the more I realize how insanely thought out went into every aspect of the story. The most complex story dealing with time and space) 3 - Game of Thrones (Despite the ending, I can't deny how much I enjoy following the series over the years. I love the world, the lore, the characters, and all the incredible/iconic television moments.) 2 - Succession (It's my favorite tv show at the moment, the final season was easily the best thing I watched this year. It's brilliant in everything, in the script, in the acting, in the direction, just everything. This is how you make a compelling and intense show with characters just talking. It may have overthrown my number 1 but time will tell) 1 - Breaking Bad (Not much to say, it's the pinnacle of television) Other shows that I really want to watch would be: The Sopranos, The Wire; BoJack Horseman; The Crown; Twin Peaks; Mad Men
Some HBO shows that I consider underrated are In treatment, and the number 1 ladies detective agency. TAles from the crypt just for nostalgia. I haven't seen Six feet under but I have heard very good things about it.
I would really have to think about my top 10, and I haven’t watched a single show or movie in nearly 3 years, I only watch anime now. But my favourite shows from years ago were The X-Files, Lost (terrible ending), first 4 seasons of Game of Thrones, Star Trek, Buffy, South Park. That’s all I can think of right now, but I know I’m forgetting some.
I'll have to give you my top 20 tv shows, a lot are British comedy, and my number one is Australian: 20 Rizzoli And Isles (2010-16) 19 Nash Bridges (1996-2001) 18 Monk (2002-09) 17 QI (2003-present) 16 The Royle Family (1998-2012) 15 Auf Wiedersehen, Pet (1983-2004) 14 Gavin And Stacey (2007-19) 13 The Ricky Gervais Show (2010-12) 12 Taskmaster (2015-present) 11 Dave Gorman's Modern Life Is Goodish (2013-17) 10 Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987-94) 9 Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1993-99) 8 The Inbetweeners (2008-10) 7 Picard (2021-23) 6 Friday Night Dinner (2011-20) 5 Two Doors Down (2013-present) 4 Peter Kay's Car Share (2015-18) 3 Alan Davies... As Yet Untitled (2014-present) 2 Coupling (2000-04) 1 Prisoner: Cell Block H (1979-86)
heres my top 10: 1. Mr. Robot 2. Breaking Bad + BCS (I combine them, but BCS is better overall imo). 3. Dexter 4. The Sopranos 5. The Walking Dead (I'm up to the end of S6) 6. Beef 7. Peacemaker 8. The Boys 9. 24. 10. Barry
I watched the first season of Breaking Bad when it first released, just never bothered with season 2, I don’t know why. Also I loved Spike in Buffy, seeing him going from trying to always kill Buffy to being in love with her was great. But I haven’t seen an episode in soooo long.
Battlestar Galactica will always top the list of my favorite tv series. This is followed by Buffy The Vampire Slayer(it's not always about the quality or budget but how much it entertains and engages me.) On third place its all three season of David Lynch's Twin Peaks. The live action One Piece at Netflix is the latest addition to my list and I'm not even a big fan of the anime itself. If you're putting animation in your list like South Park, then I would put the first season of One Punch Man, it's incredibly funny and well paced. The 90s Rurouni Kenshin is another great anime series that follows the life and redemption of ex-assassin Himura Kenshin (whatever you do just skip the last season). Lastly the first two seasons of The Mandalorian serve as a great spin-off and also epilogue to the original six Star Wars movies by George Lucas and remains my favorite Star Wars tv show after the Disney takeover. Honorable mentions: Star Trek: The Original TV Series, the shortlived Jack of All Trades (love me some Bruce Campbell), the first season of Xena Warrior Princess, the first season of Heroes, Ash vs Evil Dead, Game of Thrones season 1 to 4 and the first season of True Blood.
For mini series i'd have to say V, and V: The Final Battle from i think 1983-84. Also the UK mini series of Jack The Ripper from 1988 starring Michael Caine.
Haven’t seen enough to do top 10 so I’ll do top 5 with HM: 1. Breaking Bad (no surprise) 2. Better Call Saul (no surprise) 3. Mr. Robot 4. The Walking Dead S1-S7EP1 5. Arcane HM: Hannibal, Lost (would be on here but I’m not done), Shameless S1-S6, The Leftovers
Barry is amazing! I think my favorite shows are Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, The Sopranos, The Wire, Barry. And honestly The Bear is climbing up to a top 10 for me maybe.
I would recommend “Black Sails”, it starts a little slow and then picks up. Every season outdoes the previous one, it also has great rewatch value. The dialogue of this show tops every other show, it’s that good.
Once you watch Peaky Blinders, please do a review on it. I absolutely love Peaky, and it's on my top 10 list for TV shows! While you're watching it, you are definitely going to applaud each and every one of the actors work. It's mind-blowing how amazing Cillian is in this show.
I don’t really have a number 1 favorite, but here are some that I consider as my favorites - Avatar Last Airbender - Breaking Bad - Ash vs Evil Dead - Haunting of Hill House - Band of Brothers
My top 10... 1. Mad Men 2. Better Call Saul 3. Bojack Horseman 4. Sopranos 5. Mr. Robot 6. Breaking Bad 7. LOST 8. The Wire 9. Twin Peaks 10. Band Of Brothers
1. The Wire 2. Breaking Bad 3. Better Call Saul 4. The Office 5. Ozark 6. Oz 7. Seinfeld 8. The Boys 9. This Is Us 10. Stranger Things Honorables: Cheers, Severance (only 1 season), Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Dexter (season 8 and New Blood finale blew chunks). I still need to watch Sopranos, Succession and Peaky Blinders, hopefully this year.
3:00 hmm i've heard of this show before when i was looking through other superhero shows that isn't marvel/dc-related (bc i was obsessed with the boys at the time and wanted more lol) so does season 1 end in a cliffhanger or is it one of those i can just stop after s1 and be fine with it? 👀 bc i did get curious about the show, i just didn't know it fell off.

I was never a fan of TV shows, I've watched a few from your list but I never really felt it in my veins like I feel some movies, books or manga; Dark, however, was an exception. The way it made me think about time and paradoxes simply did it for me, the plot itself is good but I can't say it's as interesting as the theoretical subjects approached. I still think it has some incredible characters and very fun twists but it did physically hurt here and there trying to rationalize a paradox. Thanks for the video, Ryan. (Off topic) Will you resume the chainsaw man reviews? Mb if you mentioned it somewhere already
Mad Men, Malcolm In The Middle, Skins, Silicon Valley, The Office, Freaks And Geeks, Avatar The Last Airbender, Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul, The IT Crowd, Star Trek
You should see Babylon 5, man. It's old, but the plot is so good, it gives you a "mega-spoiler" in the pilot and you don't understand it until the end of 3th season.
1. The Simpsons (seasons 2-8) 2. The sopranos 3. South Park 4. True detective seasons 1+2 5. The Office 6. Chernobyl 7. Seinfeld 8. The Twilight Zone 9. Carnivale 10. Xavier Renegade Angel

10. Star dust crusaders (First anime I ever watched and I will forever regret saying all anime is cringe) 9. Batman the animated series (So much nostalgia and now that I am older I can appreciate the story and characters even more) 8. Primeval (It's far from perfect but it's more of a guilty pleasure because I love anything to do with dinosaurs and I love the show’s atmosphere) 7. The walking dead (I like it for all the reasons everyone else likes it, it did fall off but the first 5 seasons are amazing) 6. Dr who (The new series has sadly fell off but the era between the ninth Doctor and the eleventh Doctor are all great) 5. Better call Saul (It used to be my number 1 but after rewatching Breaking Bad I realise that show is still superior, as well this will anger a lot of people but I found the ending super disappointing and it alienated me from the characters) 4. Prison break (The first seasons are amazing and the characters are all great, not much else to say) 3. Hannibal (The first show that really got me into film and television, I actually love how Hannibal doesn’t rely on action but instead revolves around psychology. Hannibal and Will's dynamic are amazing and they alone are enough to watch the show. As well all the side characters are well written.) 2. Breaking bad (What can I say that hasn’t already been said, great writing, great characters, great plot, high steaks, amazing drama. This would have been number 1 if it weren’t for one thing. I got spoiled most of the main character deaths. Even so it's still a fantastic show and worth watching regardless.) 1. Lost (This show was such a breath of fresh air in terms of it being different and not being restricted to one genre, many people don’t like the direction it goes sometimes but after doing some research I can understand most of these choices. The show does a great job at giving backstory’s to characters without info dumping, showing brief flashbacks over the course of the series which slowly tell us all we need to know. As well the back and forth between Jack Shepard and John Locke is one of the most interesting characters dynamics ever. Lost also makes you question reality and that's why I love it so much.)

@@RealLifeRyan super late reply, but yea most people basically get upset with the religious undertone at the last season, and the confusing nature of the series, but really id say its important to watch as it basically kickstarted modern era tv. just understand it was written on the fly essentially with a rough idea of how they wanted to end it, similar to hunter x hunter really, if you think about it. anyways that's my random recommendation from me, a random person on the internet . hope youre doing well and keep up the good work with the channel! one of my favorites to tune into.

Stranger things
Yellowstone
Fargo
Barry
Mad men
Better call Saul
Bojack horseman
Hannibal
Invincible
Honorable mentions: Arcane; The Boys; Cobra Kai; Vikings; Prison Break; Barry; Band of Brothers
10 - Daredevil (Best superhero show, despite loving the Boys. The 3 seasons come together really well with a great conclusion)
9 - Severance (The show has so much potential. The concept alone is very unique and intriguing. Season 1 was amazing)
8 - Black Sales (The best realistic pirate story. It was surpricingly great)
7 - The Bear (This is like Kitchen Nightmares but with characters growth and more intensity. Season 2 was really amazing)
6 - Peaky Blinders (Fenomenal Gangster story, Cillian Murphy best perfomance, it would be higher if the final season wasn't a bit disappoint)
5 - Better Call Saul (Incredible worthy prequel. In terms of writing it's as good as Breaking Bad, and the cinematography is even better. The only think that makes a little bit inferior is that the story isn't quite as compelling.)
4 - Dark (The more I think about it, the more I realize how insanely thought out went into every aspect of the story. The most complex story dealing with time and space)
3 - Game of Thrones (Despite the ending, I can't deny how much I enjoy following the series over the years. I love the world, the lore, the characters, and all the incredible/iconic television moments.)
2 - Succession (It's my favorite tv show at the moment, the final season was easily the best thing I watched this year. It's brilliant in everything, in the script, in the acting, in the direction, just everything. This is how you make a compelling and intense show with characters just talking. It may have overthrown my number 1 but time will tell)
1 - Breaking Bad (Not much to say, it's the pinnacle of television)
Other shows that I really want to watch would be: The Sopranos, The Wire; BoJack Horseman; The Crown; Twin Peaks; Mad Men
Everytime I see someone talking about the best shows I think to myself “they better have DARK or they’re a phukking idiot” you passed the test.
If you like breaking bad you gotta watch the wire (goat imo) and sopranos. Without them there would be no breaking bad
@@MYTHNL90Yeah I definitely need to watch those shows
This was a great list. Bravo.
@@MYTHNL90yeah the wire is hands down the best show ever
Peaky blinders is pretty good.
I'll have to give you my top 20 tv shows, a lot are British comedy, and my number one is Australian:
20 Rizzoli And Isles (2010-16)
19 Nash Bridges (1996-2001)
18 Monk (2002-09)
17 QI (2003-present)
16 The Royle Family (1998-2012)
15 Auf Wiedersehen, Pet (1983-2004)
14 Gavin And Stacey (2007-19)
13 The Ricky Gervais Show (2010-12)
12 Taskmaster (2015-present)
11 Dave Gorman's Modern Life Is Goodish (2013-17)
10 Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987-94)
9 Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1993-99)

3 Alan Davies... As Yet Untitled (2014-present)
2 Coupling (2000-04)
1 Prisoner: Cell Block H (1979-86)
heres my top 10:
1. Mr. Robot
2. Breaking Bad + BCS (I combine them, but BCS is better overall imo).
3. Dexter
4. The Sopranos
5. The Walking Dead (I'm up to the end of S6)
6. Beef
7. Peacemaker
8. The Boys
9. 24.
10. Barry
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Are you asian?
I love the Twilight Zone! Favorite episode is The New Exhibit
I came for the Buffy love
Here are some real recommendations. Scavengers Reign. DARK. Blue Eye Samurai. Marco Polo. And true detective season 1.
For mini series i'd have to say V, and V: The Final Battle from i think 1983-84. Also the UK mini series of Jack The Ripper from 1988 starring Michael Caine.
I've watched few live action series (
Haven’t seen enough to do top 10 so I’ll do top 5 with HM:
1. Breaking Bad (no surprise)
2. Better Call Saul (no surprise)
3. Mr. Robot
4. The Walking Dead S1-S7EP1
5. Arcane
HM: Hannibal, Lost (would be on here but I’m not done), Shameless S1-S6, The Leftovers
You should totally check out The X-Files if you haven’t already and Twin Peaks.
Black sails is phenomenal I have it ranked right as the 11th best series I’ve ever seen.
Once you watch Peaky Blinders, please do a review on it. I absolutely love Peaky, and it's on my top 10 list for TV shows! While you're watching it, you are definitely going to applaud each and every one of the actors work. It's mind-blowing how amazing Cillian is in this show.
Peaky blinders is good imo it’s more top 35-40 not top ten but I respect your opinion. What’s your top ten?
The Wire. Arcane. Downtown Abbey. Blue eyed samurai. Steptoe and Son. Blackadder. The Young Ones. House of the Dragon. Cobra Kai. Antique Roadshow.
I don’t really have a number 1 favorite, but here are some that I consider as my favorites
- Avatar Last Airbender
- Breaking Bad
- Ash vs Evil Dead
- Haunting of Hill House
- Band of Brothers
My top 10...

3. Bojack Horseman
4. Sopranos
5. Mr. Robot
6. Breaking Bad
7. LOST
8. The Wire
9. Twin Peaks
10. Band Of Brothers
Mad Men Easily is Top Ten For me as well, that show is incredible
@@asqwert2121yeah mad men is absolutely worthy of being top ten it wouldn’t quite make it but it absolutely makes my top fifteen.
1. The Wire
2. Breaking Bad
3. Better Call Saul
4. The Office

Honorables: Cheers, Severance (only 1 season), Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Dexter (season 8 and New Blood finale blew chunks).
I just saw a retrospective about heroes and now you suggest it. I guess bakis right about synchronisity
Try the italian series gomorrah ryan
Yo Ryan as an independent filmmaker I think you may like Twin Peaks. Not sure if you like David Lynch or not, but it's really good.
For me my list of T.V shows I’m not including cartoon cause I consider that a different category.

What's wrong with dying alone?
The first half: 😘
The second half: ☠️

I was never a fan of TV shows, I've watched a few from your list but I never really felt it in my veins like I feel some movies, books or manga; Dark, however, was an exception. The way it made me think about time and paradoxes simply did it for me, the plot itself is good but I can't say it's as interesting as the theoretical subjects approached. I still think it has some incredible characters and very fun twists but it did physically hurt here and there trying to rationalize a paradox. Thanks for the video, Ryan.
(Off topic) Will you resume the chainsaw man reviews? Mb if you mentioned it somewhere already
Dark is absolutely one of the five best shows I’ve ever watched!
Mad Men, Malcolm In The Middle, Skins, Silicon Valley, The Office, Freaks And Geeks, Avatar The Last Airbender, Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul, The IT Crowd, Star Trek
I miss the breaking bad universe 😭, Buffy was a lotta fun ! You really do care for the characters
You should see Babylon 5, man. It's old, but the plot is so good, it gives you a "mega-spoiler" in the pilot and you don't understand it until the end of 3th season.
What is your opinion on the anime/ manga series case closed/ detective Conan?
Highly recommend band of brothers and the pacific
1. The Simpsons (seasons 2-8)
2. The sopranos
3. South Park
4. True detective seasons 1+2
5. The Office
6. Chernobyl
7. Seinfeld
8. The Twilight Zone
9. Carnivale
10. Xavier Renegade Angel
These are in no particular order. I excluded anime but there are some western cartoons.
The Twilight Zone
The Andy Griffith Show
Gunsmoke
Curb Your Enthusiasm
Party Down
Peep Show
Nathan Barley
Limmy's Show
Spongebob Squarepants (seasons 1-3)
Scooby Doo, Mystery Incorporated (2010, really good revamp with a continuous plot through 2 seasons. Think scoob meets twin peaks)
Had to think about this for a while, t'was a tough one:D but here's my list. I highly recommend you check out my 5th one, I'm sure you'd enjoy it too. (Not in any kind of order)
10. Supernatural
9. Bojack Horseman
8. Trailer Park Boys
7. South Park
6. Frasier
5. Over the Gardenwall
4. Avatar the Last Airbender
3. Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood

Mr Robot is really great.. it's one of my favourite tv shows
Top five easily in my opinion

Have you watched/added to your need to watch list Penny Dreadful yet? As far as anime to watch you could completely binge Castlevania and Blue Eye Samurai. 🤘😎💗
Bruce campbell in burn notice!!!!! check it out!!!
Mr Robot is so goated
10. Star dust crusaders (First anime I ever watched and I will forever regret saying all anime is cringe)
9. Batman the animated series (So much nostalgia and now that I am older I can appreciate the story and characters even more)
8. Primeval (It's far from perfect but it's more of a guilty pleasure because I love anything to do with dinosaurs and I love the show’s atmosphere)
7. The walking dead (I like it for all the reasons everyone else likes it, it did fall off but the first 5 seasons are amazing)
6. Dr who (The new series has sadly fell off but the era between the ninth Doctor and the eleventh Doctor are all great)
5. Better call Saul (It used to be my number 1 but after rewatching Breaking Bad I realise that show is still superior, as well this will anger a lot of people but I found the ending super disappointing and it alienated me from the characters)
4. Prison break (The first seasons are amazing and the characters are all great, not much else to say)
3. Hannibal (The first show that really got me into film and television, I actually love how Hannibal doesn’t rely on action but instead revolves around psychology. Hannibal and Will's dynamic are amazing and they alone are enough to watch the show. As well all the side characters are well written.)
2. Breaking bad (What can I say that hasn’t already been said, great writing, great characters, great plot, high steaks, amazing drama. This would have been number 1 if it weren’t for one thing. I got spoiled most of the main character deaths. Even so it's still a fantastic show and worth watching regardless.)
My top ten is
1. The wire
2. Game of thrones
3. Six feet under
4. Mr robot
5. Dark
6. The boys
7. The shield
8. Breaking bad
9. Succession
10. Sons of anarchy
Honorable mentions
Black sails

If you ever want the absolute best show ever made according to a random person on the internet, then I highly recommend Dark.
Dark imo I’d easily top five best show I’ve ever watched. I only have four shows ahead of it darks a masterpiece.
I don't really watch TV shows but Game of Thrones 1-4 is some of the greatest television ever produced
100% agreed game of thrones at its peak was the best series I’ve ever watched.
The Wire 🥶
I agree breaking bad is the greatest show of all time! It is also my number one as well.
Breaking bad is definitely too ten but I’d say the wire is the best of all time
Have you ever seen Twin Peaks? I feel like you’d like it a lot, initially it’s like a murder mystery but then it becomes one of the dreamiest, surreal like mystery and tragedy to exist with a lot of original comedy and quirkiness you can’t find in any other show
It’s definitely one I wanna see👍
I tried watching arrow. Gave up half way though the second season
Mr. 🐐
Ryan dale la oportunidad a la primera temporada de doctor who, es un show raro pero es muy bueno
Right on for real ash vs evil dead and that’s 70s show are the best tv shows I’ve ever seen family guy is up there for me to the older episodes especially the newer stuff has kinda fallen off
No LOST?! Damn! That’s my number 1 easy. Good list tho!
Haven’t seen it. But I hear very mixed things
Angel is one of my least favorite of all fictional characters. I only watched all of angel because of spike. He is absolutely an amazing and fun character
It's crime not putting game of thrones in the top 10
Agreed game of thrones is actually top two for me. What’s your top ten?
