I've owned 3 Warlocks,a red bronze exactly like that one minus the bold bronze writing on the headstock. I changed the pickups and the wiring harness and now it's great. I had a black one series which I sold and a Core model that I play all the time with the 3x3 headstock. Bronze are a good mod platform.

Haha! Loved that intro! That BC Rich is pretty impressive! Slash used a BC Rich guitar to record most of 'Appetite For Destruction'! For the overdubs, he used a Les Paul copy made by a VERY talented luthier. So that got me thinking. This morning, I finally accepted it. It's not my guitars. It's ME. I uploaded 2 Aerosmith covers last night and this morning. I wanted to see how closely I could match Joe Perry's 1959 Gibson Les Paul. I used a different guitar for each video: a $650 Epiphone Les Paul Modern I just got in October. And a Monoprice Indio 66 DLX Plus Goldtop Les Paul I got in August. I used Guitar Rig 5 and matched what I researched about the 1950s Fender Twin Joe Perry used for the 1975 'Toys In The Attic' album. I set the EQ to sound decent and let fly. BOTH guitars sounded nearly identical to his '59 Gibson! So, I'm convinced now. It's not the guitar - it's the player: how they play and what kind of an ear they have for tone!

My Warlock is a platinum New Jersey series with the batwing headstock and Floyd Rose trem, it also came with the string locking nut, the Floyd Rose also boasts fine tuners on the bridge and a solid ebony fret board. I have had this thing for years, I love the sound as well as the appearance. I love it so much i bought the matching Warlock Bass.
Off the rack BC Rich was one of the heaviest sounding axes out there when properly tuned and toned, they can shred, they can be mellowed out, they punch out hard chugging riffs that just make you want bang your head so hard you almost stroke out......seriously, for the $$$ you can do a whole hell of a lot worse than ones these puppies.

what’s a guitar you recommend? i’m still very amateur but i just wonder what guitar would be the best to play metal/punk/rock songs. i have a gibson sg i think..it’s an ltd, but it just doesn’t feel comfortable to play and so i ended up procrastinating and losing time. i thought about getting one of these warlocks since it’s supposedly has flexibility but i i want to make sure i’m making the right choice and was wondering what your opinion might be. i just want a guitar that i can bend the strings to get that certain shriek sound, etc.

I love my Warlock Plus FR, so much easier to play than my Epi LP, and has sustain for days.... Basswood body, burled maple top, mahogany neck through, rosewood fingerboard. The input jack on mine is inset, so it's aligned with the body instead of jutting out of the bottom. I picked it up from a collector that bought it new and never played it, so it's in mint condition.

I picked one up today for $140 used, very great condition minus the rear body scuff up a bit but who cares. The pickups aren’t much & nothing a SD JB can’t fix. The 3-3 tuning heads can be upgraded easily, yes, ball sack. The neck feel and fretboard are fkn great in feel & play. The wife will give me shit yes but it was an opportunity I couldn’t pass on. One more thing, this is my very first BC Rich I’ve ever had as I play Jackson, LTD high end models. I don’t know what the body wood is but this thing is hella heavy, about 8-9 lbs. I’m sure the upgrades will improve the overall quality of this guitar. Keep rockin 👍🏽

Since this video the Bronze Series Warlocks have jumped into the $300-$350 range. I just bought a blood red body with the blade graphics, and the neck and all hardware was missing. No matter, as I have always wanted one in the back of my mind. To get the project going I found a decent Dean Vendetta neck for dirt cheap, and it has a less pointy headstock than the widow style, and actually will match the body quite well. Since I have a background in auto painting, and more recently guitar painting, I plan to do it in a snakeskin look like a Warren Demartini signature, and use Duncan Zebra Invaders. I've wanted one forever, and in my 50's now. If I want one, I better get one while I am still young enough to enjoy it. I will be hotrodding the hell out of it.

The only issue with my bronze is that the BDSM bridge pickup just doesn't deliver for the crunch I look for or pinch harmonics. Also no but tremelo/vibrato system. Other than that it's a solid guitar. I wrote the lenghty review on Reverb and basically it's been said right here, the higher end models have the bells, whistles, paint, wood and more handmade than power tools.
This is why the more vintage BC Rich's went for alot originally and still command high prices however, if you don't have the skills you won't be able to fully make use of that high end axe. All in all Bronze is great to a point and then you either upgrade the guitar itself or onto the next!

Back when MF was still a musicians friend . And yes , the input jack kinda sucks. I had to go in and solder it twice. I was gifted a Charvel Pearl a few months ago and it's a great guitar but, I can't get the same sounds and playability from it as I can the Warlock. I've never modded it in any way. I have a 60 series Crate tube amp and I can make the Warlock sound like every guitar from Fender to Ibanez . Blues to Metal . I like it mostly for the sound not the look . I've been looking for a BC Rich bass on the cheap around here. Body hardness has a lot to do with sustain, my all maple rickenbacker sustains for days. It's that joke from spinal tap. Also is it really a BC Rich if there isn't some sort of damage to the points? It's part of the experience.

It has a strat style bridge but I cant find any info on it. Cant find any bronze series with a single bridge pickup . Its in really good shape, still has the plastic on the back plate, heavy and built like a brick shit house.

If you're smart, you'll get a slightly less nice version of a guitar at a much lower price, take out the pickups and replace them with the ones you want anyways, and maybe change the nut. half the time, it's a plastic nut on these guitars nowadays, and it's pathetic. save your money yall, and just put in a little more work, you'll end up with a guitar you would have paid maybe $1,000 more for in the end.
