I think I get what the bot is saying. Remember in a prior video you explained how one bot gets the game time tokens and then that one bot turns into more and more bots, because it starts spreading those tokens around to other accounts. When that happens, you end up with a lot of bots farming gold which makes the supply really high. So the cost goes way down in order to sell it off. When you kill a bot you're not really killing just one, you're killing all future bots that would have been created from this one bot. The bots on that server would love you because they already have 2,000,000 gold pieces waiting for sale on that server. if you kill them, and the competition bots you are basically going to increase their profit margin 25% or more thereby putting an additional +$30,000-$50,000 in their tax free accounts xaxaxa. I'm using rough estimate numbers but the logic is realistic in this scenario.
He makes money either way. If you leave him alone, he has more supply than demand and the price per item drops. But people are more inclined to buy. So he’s counting on volume. If you kill them all, then price goes up and they get more money per item. But fewer buy. He’s probably in a team working for someone else and you are slowing down his output. So he risks making his quota. Maybe possible bonuses, etc. or loss of status within the team. That’s what he’s mad about.

On PVE even if you manage to cause toon death they just rez and go back to w/e they were doing. I think only on HC will this work. Not even PVP because, again, rezzing

His “argument” was like it’s a given that everyone (including video maker) buys gold as standard. I.e ‘you killed me, now your next gold purchase will be more expensive’
It's obvious he's trying to get you to stop hunting down the bots. His logic is flawed. The market will be somewhat profitable for a brief amount of time until it inevitably readjusts. Consumers hate fluctuating markets. Killing the bots will allow them to raise prices, but they will have less willing buyers. The price will then drop again to which point they will be making less money from their dwindling consumer base.
I suppose if theres 100 bot users and you kill 1 of each of their bots, this guy loses 1 bot but his competition loses 99 bots! While his supply goes down, the total supply of botted gold goes down way more in comparison so his remaining bots profitability goes up more than he lost, true perhaps.
He tried to say that Stitches' market is full of bots so prices will go higher when they is low bots. Meaning that bots make the prices in the AH cheaper. Don't know if it's true, but it doesn't matter. What matters is that one player started to do Blizzard's job without asking for a starting prince nor for a subscription and some players will take it as an example. PS : Please do not have your dwarf hunter die from fall.
Long story short: yes, you are removing from the system automated raw gold makers that sustain the economy and gdkp runs make these bots very profitable. Gdkp being banned (I heard that it's coming now) will also deal a huge blow in the incentives of them because gold will only be required to pay for high speed mounts, very rare crafting boes and the usual consumes for those trying to push for better parses. Gdkp runs was the thing that kept pushing the prices like crazy because they made whales pay for the bots and that raw gold to be transfered to the plancton of the server participating in said runs for the gold
It may theoretically drive up price, but they have to actually sell the gold to profit, and if the price actually is higher than usual, less people are likely to buy at those prices. There has to be a point where the price is just too damn high for anyone to buy, whereas if it was free, everyone would partake. If you're driving that meter toward less and less people buying, I'm rooting for you.
Im sure its been said before, but have you considered making a bot killing guild with the refresh? All hunters, all taught how to manipulate mob aggro, and all dedicated to killing bots 24/7. An entire player-managed, in-game police force that everyone can call when they find bots. That would be sick.
@Madskillzzhc True, they would watch list it, but, counterpoint, if they spend half their time running from the guild with a hundred members actively hunting them then they are farming at half efficiency and doing less damage to the realm.
and what bro is typing about the market is just not true, a month or 2 ago the prices on g2g for 1000g on HC stitches was about 50-55$ now its sitting at 31$ for 1000g
Yes I can't see that gold has gotten more expensive. I also believe the announcement about new server the 21st have probably dropped the price drastically. The SM bots is very difficult to deal with. But on the new server we can gatekeep them from every reaching level 60 by taking them out before they reach 60 and lock themselves into endless SM farm simulator.
Obviously 1 bot dying isn't affecting the market in any way, he just means it in a general way. Like if nobody ever killed a bot they would be everywhere and markets would be flooded. I don't agree with him ofcourse but I think that's what he was trying to say. Good luck with the hunting ^^
Almost falling off the bridge was a clencher for sure. Be careful my guy, i do not see noggen fogger on your bars, hopefully you are rocking parachute cloak or something. You need to make a bot killing guild on the new hc realms my man.

incredible to start claiming he was doing the virtuous thing for the server by botting and keeping prices low, hes seething and coping and whether he thinks so or not hes gonna have to waste his time leveling again to get back to that point. and nice of him to ID his next alt for you to add on friends list and track. keep up the good work
Idk, he actually seems to make some sense here… he doesn’t play the game at all. The bot levels the character and the bot farms gold, so he waste no personal time on that. + I totally see the gold price go up because of bot killers, it’s just how market works. However it surely must mess up his income since the bot will have to level a new char up to make money again, unless he have like 10/15 computers running bots 24/7… What he says it’s kinda half truth…
This kind of TH-cam content needs to reach the level of popularity that its visibility becomes too great for Microsoft-Blizzard to remain passive. It may become too embarrassing for Blizzard that such vigilantism is required to clean up a mess that their own inaction has allowed to exist, and they will be forced to act. If such a thing comes to pass, folks like you will have contributed to dealing with one of the major problems plaguing classic WoW servers while generating some money of your own (in a much more savory fashion than from botting, I might add) from YT viewership. In order for that popularity to be achieved, you need to keep dealing with these bots, so *_please keep up the good work._* However, you also need to stay alive, so *_please be more careful_* around dangerous situations like that bridge!

Lol that guy is trying so hard to make you feel bad and completely failing.
If you're driving that meter toward less and less people buying, I'm rooting for you.
wait, my favorite bot murderer has his own youtube channel? Noice
Good job! I expect you to defend us past the 21st, too. ^_^
You should equip a parachute cloak to prevent that.
Im sure its been said before, but have you considered making a bot killing guild with the refresh? All hunters, all taught how to manipulate mob aggro, and all dedicated to killing bots 24/7.
An entire player-managed, in-game police force that everyone can call when they find bots.
That would be sick.
Haha that would be sick. But eventually the bots will just put the entire Guild on watchlist. But its a good idea. 😂
@Madskillzzhc True, they would watch list it, but, counterpoint, if they spend half their time running from the guild with a hundred members actively hunting them then they are farming at half efficiency and doing less damage to the realm.
I believe the hunters in SM are running the most destructive script for the HC economy, because the guy has like 20 chars just going wild in there
and what bro is typing about the market is just not true, a month or 2 ago the prices on g2g for 1000g on HC stitches was about 50-55$ now its sitting at 31$ for 1000g
That group wipe on Thaurissan during the outro 😬
good luck on the next one o7
Blizz should ban goldbuyers, Problem solved 🤗
I just found this channel i love the videos keep it up subscribed
Well if he's so happy you killed him, I'm sure he'll be over the moon when you do it again - Target Acquired
Next server 21 is in reference to the Fresh Progression Servers
he made tons of gold when he reached +40
Almost falling off the bridge was a clencher for sure. Be careful my guy, i do not see noggen fogger on your bars, hopefully you are rocking parachute cloak or something. You need to make a bot killing guild on the new hc realms my man.
I got Petri and LIPs but i dont think my brain would think about any of those two the 3 seconds it takes to die. Ive never used a single one of them for my entire HC life on any characters for years. I would probably just die like a nub 😂
He is talking trash, the fact he engaged so hard with you shows you hurt them.
Now you're the Savior of the WoWconomy.
incredible to start claiming he was doing the virtuous thing for the server by botting and keeping prices low, hes seething and coping and whether he thinks so or not hes gonna have to waste his time leveling again to get back to that point. and nice of him to ID his next alt for you to add on friends list and track. keep up the good work
Idk, he actually seems to make some sense here… he doesn’t play the game at all. The bot levels the character and the bot farms gold, so he waste no personal time on that. + I totally see the gold price go up because of bot killers, it’s just how market works.
However it surely must mess up his income since the bot will have to level a new char up to make money again, unless he have like 10/15 computers running bots 24/7…
What he says it’s kinda half truth…
The guy can’t comprehend that being a rl RMT ruins the game / market. It’s kinda sad.
because he actually responded i bet its a small fish with few bot running either hes botting for himself or his guild on a seperate account and/or hes just making abit on the side by selling gold.
Dude I grinded the Sky Shadows for Epic Mount on Nostalrius but I can’t do it in Vanilla because of the damn bots. Bots have ruined my playstyle of open world grinding and I can’t applaud you enough man.
People who dont advocate for bot bans are legit like this 'price of gold low' 'Bots are good cause everything is cheap and accessible'
And those abomination bots are a reason why token prices are high in both cata classic and retail
