There is a difference between democracy and monarchy. There can be great kings and bad prime ministers, then why is democracy better? The answer is that if you get an idiot prime minister then you can vote him out, but if you get an idiot king you are still stuck with him and he/she could destroy the country.
In case of BJP the democratic principle is true, there was Vajpayee and when he lost he retired. Then there was Advani who retired when he lost. Modi is extremely successful but if he fails repeatedly then he will also be out.
Congress works on Monarchy principle where you are stuck with the Clown Prince no matter how much he fails.
This is the reason Congress should be thrown out.
In a democracy there is another criteria that the same person should not rule for a long time even if he is successful. USA has a law that prohibits a person to remain president for more than two terms i.e. a person in USA can remain president for maximum 8 years. Mo D has been PM for 10 years. in 2024 BJP should not make Mo D as PM for third term. There are better choices in BJP for PM's role. So no more Mo D is 2024.

The problem of Congress is the complete lack of credibility of its leadership and the absence of trust in the public about sustained commitment of its leadership to build a better India. The bitter taste of UPA 2.0 still lingers and unless leadership shrugs off it's laziness and works tirelessly the "nuclear winter" will continue. The regional parties like TMC or DMK are smarter and can at least hold their fort and ground in their states.

Of late IE has become unreadable. I use the premium sub on the app, & their notification algorithm is such that any news that is apparently negative for the current govt is recommended 3-4 times a day, & even once daily for 3 more days. Any news that is apparently positive to the govt. is not even properly covered, or covered very late as compared to other news outlets. Its opinion pages & articles are *mostly* filled with not so nice opinions about the current establishment. I've lost interest in reading it anymore.

I say that this working every well since 2014. You have to just remove the word Gandhi family and replace it with Mo D. Your every sentence will fit well with Mo D's actions and decisions. Mo D is ahead of Congress in appeasement of Muslims. Mo D calls it Triptikaran of Muslims. Neither Congress nor Mo D did any thing for Hindus. Mo D is as secular in his actions and decisions as Congress can be. Congress created several anti Hindu laws but Mo D didn't repeal any i.e. both are anti Hindu. Hindus are the only voters who don't ask anything in return from Mo D. Mo D takes its advantage and ignore Hindus legitimate expectations such as repealing anti Hindu laws.

There’s a one major problem with exit polls that they don’t predict last moment wittiness of political parties. How parties like BJP move their voters out from their homes to polling stations. Congress lacks this last minute arrangements. I think that’s also a deciding factor in first past the post system.

I would like add here that Opposition is not measured just by number of MPs and MLAs. It is also reflected in on-the-ground numbers. Even in defeat and its extremely low tally of 2009, BJP was able to keep the ruling Govt of the day on its toes. Of course, ideology helped the party but more than that BJP had leaders people trusted in. The Gandhis are a DISCREDITED LOT.
