I can tell you why: In the last seconds a stupid guy in the audience screamed "Bravo!" before Barenboim lowered his arms. You could see Barenboim freezing face expression about such idiocy.
@@DonAlfonso63 Yeah, I know the complete video and also saw the live broadcast back then. Wrong audience for this opera. There should be silence instead, after the last note faded out, just to feel the magic of the moment. And then a slowly growing applause. Definitely not the moment to burst into the silence with Bravo etc. Applause was long enough for a lot of Bravos a bit later...
Musique sublime ! Merveilleuse cantatrice !! Que du bonheur !!!! Sans oublier Barenboim , bien sûr !!!
In this role she has it all, voice, passion, acting, just captavating!
Sublissime
Sublime. Majestuosa. Soberbia.
Vorwürfe, sie hätte nicht die Stimme für Isolde sind längst schon, hiermit definitiv, widerlegt. Ein Wunder an Schönheit.
Thiis is extraordinary !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BRAVISSIMO! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
She is so wonderful! (I just wonder if the blood is necessary . . .)
I agree.
I agree.
I'd say it distracts the attention.
I`ve lost too many friends to suicides,,I cry all the time hearing her sing
Stratosferica.
Wonderful! But why cut off the last seconds?!?

Actually the "Scala" audience is culturally of a high level, but you can find a black sheep in the best families....🤷🏻♂️
Nec tecum nec sine te...
Nice soprano
