Italian music has a special place in my heart because I'm Italian. My grandfather came to America during the rise of Hitler and Mussolini and as story goes he was once mayor of New York. Before moving out of Pennsylvania I would visit all of my father's family. Now I wish I could see my cousins.

I like everything Italian. The country itself is so beautiful and the lifestyle is slower and more relaxing . Their mealtime and family time is something very special to them. I wish I could live there for a while. I've been there 4 times and each time I didn't want to leave. The people seem so nice and very excitable, which I like. It truly is one of a kind country!

Tive a oportunidade de conhecer a Itália. Fui duas vezes com a minha mãe. Ficamos dois meses lá: minha mãe, uma amiga e eu. Os pais desta amiga também vieram de lá. Conheci 25 cidades da Itália, uma mais linda que a outra. Veneza,um encanto à parte, pura magia. Cantelo,na divisa com a Suiça, uma cidadezinha pequena e encantadora. A cidade onde minha mãe nasceu. Toda a Região da Toscana,um sonho!!! Foi uma viagem maravilhosa. Conheci as primas da mãe e colegas de aula. E,ainda uma tia da amiga que foi conosco. Voltei mais uma vez. Sinto saudades!!!❤❤❤😢

I like everything Italian. The country itself is so beautiful and the lifestyle is slower and more relaxing . Their mealtime and family time is something very special to them. I wish I could live there for a while. I've been there 4 times and each time I didn't want to leave. The people seem so nice and very excitable, which I like. It truly is one of a kind country!
My Sicilian family here in America is very animated. And they KNOW HOW TO COOK AND EAT!

All of my dad's side were from Sicily. My Uncle Joe told me that the Sicilian language is slowly dying , as fewer young people from Sicily pass it on to their children. I just wish my dad had taught my brother and I the language. He would speak certain funny sayings he remembered as a kid, but never bothered to teach us.

@Howard Barnes, you can be in Italy whenever you want, put this music on, lie back, close your eyes and drift around the country in your mind's eye, that's how I do it whenever I need my Italian fix and can't get over.
