Sorry Tim,it would have to be the F16,used to drive F10 and F12s both with tags,with a 45' trailer and the tag lifted you could get them anywhere.

Hi Tim, I drove a 485hp F16 in the 90s, can you do a video of the F16 please, imagine a 485hp truck in the 90s when most trucks were 290 or 320hp and didn't have limiters. It did have one fitted eventually, but they were manual ones back then and didn't work anyway!

Say what you want about truckertim this guy is getting some of the biggest names of this industry on his TH-cam channel and I couldn't name another who has managed that his videos are great
What I love about this video is the laughter, smiles and sheer satisfaction of what pleasure to every day life these projects give you . Any one involved in truck restorations will know that for every job you do on one, it uncovers another job you have to do ,it seems never ending ! and is easier to give up on them .However, the reward is plain to see in the expressions on your faces. I watched this on my telly in HD and Tim driving the Legend 4 series is just the perfect example of the best human emotion we posses . Definitely brought some light to my day . Keep them coming . 🎉

F16 for me, used to drive one, a real workhorse, never missed a beat and a close second the 143.

Just to let you know what Jack was on about tiger 131. Well tiger 131 was Germany ww2 havery tank and it was fighting the British in Tunisian desert and it trying to hold it ground for as long as it can but the tank moved from were it was ment and started shooting the British but a churchill tank shoot at it some people say it was a canon or the British tank what shoot at it but no one knows who shoot tiger 131 in the gun idk what you call they part what holds the gun but hit the part were it cant trun the gun and then then men in the tank got out in time and ran a way some time in the night the British captured the tank and the the king of England or churchill went to have a look at it and shipped to England so amry engineers cant have a look at and take parts of it some time later the British engineers gives it to the tank museum of bovington and it was sat there for some time on display and then some men came and fixed her and started her back and now you can she her run to this day and soming cool and go see. There you go Trucker tim about what jack was on about. 😊

My favourite ever truck is a 143M, beautiful trucks, sound amazing and a real work horse. They're amazing. Wish I could own one tbh, I'm a long way off that yet.
Does the experience truck not have mirrors? Jack very rarely used them!, When I was driving the recovery truck I used to spend at least 40% of my time checking the mirrors, just as important to see what is happening behind, as well as in front!

Id love to see you drive an ERF EC14 Olympic grew up around the 90s to mid 2000s trucks with my Dad , Uncle and Granda all being wagon drivers. These three trucks are stunning. Keep up the great work Tim 👍

I’m a ERF man, especially ec11 with the twin splitter, day cab as well, great work horse you can reverse any trailer so easy with it and even on the blind side, however must admit to having a soft side for the Scania. Great vid again!!! 😊

Down graded to a P reg 144 460 apart from the engine power hated the thing,really bad driving position and liked the back of recovery trucks to much

How does that work converting an entire trailer to a motorhome? Then he can’t transport anything anywhere?
For me it would have to be the 164. I hated those square F series cabs with the horrible bunk and the Early Learning Centre switch gear. Mind you, if there had been an F88 or 89 that would have been a more difficult choice…

143 450 much easier to work in them days, then a 470 was 😉
It's the Scania having the gears in reverse... Many years passed since I drove trucks on a regular basis. Regulations ended up killing the fun and the money.

I fully appreciate the 43ers too and that one is superb! Maybe nostalgia plays tricks and i reckon the 43 is probably the better unit technically, but id love to see more of the F16 please ! 👍👍
