Saw your stuff with Food Insider and it's really nice to see you have an independent youtube channel. Keep up the good work :) your content has really broadened my view of traditional foods!!
Saw this video today and placed an order for all kinds of hazelnut products with this farm! Thanks Claudia for introducing us to small, family-run companies like these which sell authentic products. Love your content ❤
I lived in Piemonte for 4 years; the first 3 months I lived with a host family in Monteu Roero who had their own hazelnut farm just like this! This video made me think of them and their incredible gianduja 🤤🤤🤤
Oh this makes me hungry. Hazelnut is one of my favourites - along with cinnamon, chocolate, mint and vanilla. It’s such a comforting thing. I made my girlfriend a chocolate and hazelnut based mousse last week and now I want to again already. This is very well shot and I loved seeing the process - you always have great presentation and find lovely people to interview!
Sitting in a hot tub on a rainy Friday morning watching another great video by Claudia - what else can you ask for 😊 Going nuts in an absolutely positive way 😂
Thank you Claudia. Outstanding education of the farm-to-table journey of the hazelnut. I have seen a pie chart of the contents of Nutella and it shows that over 50% is sugar and hazelnuts represent less than 20% of the makeup of the spread. This is a superior product that while it might not be healthy to eat a lot of it is certainly so much better than the mass produced Nutella. Thank you for introducing us to such a charming family who put quality over quantity.
Thank you for watching! I know not everybody can get products directly from producers, but it’s important to give them visibility over those big companies
Another fantastic discovery 🥰 the care put in the whole production of those hazelnuts. Now I know why good hazelnuts and their byproducts are rightly expensive. So valuable. I loved the vibe of the family and the complicity between Claudia and Francesca. Thank you Claudia for putting forward such high quality products and their manufacturers 😊😍🙋♀️
That "Proust's Madeleine" effect when Francesca ate the hazelnut... When you told her about the almonds I had the same effect: it reminds me when I was a kid, my grandpa brought me near Torre a Mare (I'm actually from Bari) and we ate some fresh almonds. I still can feel that unique taste
Omg! This is so satisfying. I make my keto Hazelnut cheesecakes atleast 3 days a week. Watching the whole thing process from its inception made me emotional. I also get so geeky about temperature and humidity conditions to grow a nut. Always imaginatively think of growing Hazelnut in my backyard in Australia. Let’s see if I ever get it to fruition. Kudos to you Claudia 🎉 You’re so geeky and I love it ❤
In Oregon we traditionally call them Filberts. My grandfather worked on a Filbert farm near Newberg back in the 50's. There are still a few farms in the Willamette Valley producing world class Hazelnuts.
I was hoping to find a link to their products. The link provided has no inventory. Also, they are not in your Amazon Storefront. I like your content. Ciao
Thank you for watching! I suggest emailing them to see what they can do to ship to you. They are a small family run business so they don’t sell on Amazon
Yes, I work as Managing Producer on the "So Expensive" and "Still Standing" series on Business Insider. But I publish content that is more dear to me on this channel. Welcome abroad!
Italy owes all the wealth it has today to the Turks and their trade with Anatolia. Venice and Genoa became richer than southern Italy thanks to their trade with the Turks. What are Italian hazelnuts?! How can the "Hazelnuts" that they are trying to produce for their own limited consumption by planting the saplings they brought from Turkey be the best hazelnuts?! Even the trees you show in the video look tiny and in Turkey we call these trees "wild hazelnuts". Their taste is very bland and has a moldy taste. The best hazelnuts in the world are Turkish hazelnuts. Even Nutella uses Turkish hazelnuts.
30-minute Claudia video drop is always a good day
I totally agree!
Haha i know right. I agree. Love claudias long format. I sit down with my girlfriend with a coffee and love these vids. Hi Claudia from Australia 🦘
@@lowerlaptimeThe fact that you take the time to sit down and watch the whole video means so much to me. Thank you🙏🏼

Thank you so much. I hope the journey continues on this channel too!
Great video Claudia - I loved to see and learn how hazelnuts get from tree to table. The freshly toasted nuts look delicious 🤤
Thank you! I have become an avid hazelnut eater after filming this 😅
Thanks very much!! 💚
You can never tell when you’ll need to know things like this!

I ricordi associati ai cibi sono sempre i più intensi e i più belli 😀
I miss the German roasted Hazelnuts at the Christmas markets. I wish I could go back!
I never thought that watching a video on how to make nut paste would be so interesting
😄 Thanks Mia, glad you liked it!
It's really impressive to see all the products they make in-house. Thank you for the awesome tour~
Such a great video, Claudia! I really enjoyed how you brought out the family interactions!
Loved it! Dreaming of going there and trying all their products 🥹💖
You come! we welcome you with pleasure 😀
Thank You Claudia.

Of course you will!😃👍
The fatty acid profile of the hazelnuts looks pretty healthy
I did not know you had your own channel!!!! You are still so beautiful. What a delight to find you here! Now I will have to binge watch then all!!!

Gray video, Claudia! Grazi!
Thank you Claudia, interesting video.
I have a hazel bush in my garden. Never had a ripe nut from it as the grey squirrels get them all.
Thank you
Bravo! Molta bene! Excellent video! Grazie!
Now I gotta have some coffee with hazelnut.
I assure you it is delicious!😉
To quote Liz Lemon “I want to go to there 🤤”
You come! we welcome you with pleasure 😀
I was waiting for this. And guess what I’m eating? Hazelnuts.
Perfect timing!
Great content, I wish I will visit Italy someday, your subscriber from Philippines 🇵🇭 ❤
Hazelnuts are so expensive where I live 😭 but I love them soooo much
salivating....wonder if they ship to Singapore ?
We've never done it, but we can try! 😄
beautiful
In Northern California we have wild hazelnuts

i didn't hear any mention of _gianduja_ here; i thought that's what that hazelnut-chocolate spread was; from which Nutella was developed
They don't call their spread gianduia because the two ingredients need to have a specific ratio. Hope this helps!
@@claudia-romeo 👍👍
What is the test of hazel nut
anything Claudia. anything.
My lord ....
Most beloved 💝 nuts ..
HAZELNUTS...
Give me 2 kgs....
I'm done ½ hour
👍🌸👍🌸👍🌸
Nice video. Btw, more 60% of world production of hazelnuts comes from Turkiye.
So you're no longer on the food insider channel?
I hope your channel is successful.

Her parents look 60 not 70 keeping the age well. @Claudia it would be greatly appreciated if you can do similar videos of Citrus Olives and Figs.

A little bit redundancy in the title.. but a great video as always.
I rather have it that way than a misleading click bait 😊
