These are great! Wondering if you can share any tips on the black outline. When I do my cookies this way, my fill icing tends to cover parts of my outlines no matter how careful I am. Could I be using too much icing, or maybe use a bigger tip for the outline?
Your video just saved my life lol! I am giving my 3 sons a Super Mario themed birthday party and I was on Etsy about to buy cookie cutters for 30 bucks I can save money now and use it for extra party stuff!!! Thanks a million #COOLMOMSROCK
Good evening. How beautiful your cookies are.I was wondering if you could tell me where you got the template for the cookies.I have the cutters already. Please and ThankYou
I don't have the cutters and just found the pics online. I printed them on cardstock, laminated with packing tape and cut out areas to help make the template easy for myself. I do that a lot actually. It easy and don't cost anything but a few cents :) Hope that helps! Thank for watching!
@@AlwaysEatonSweets Hi, I don't know why that was so much too follow haha. Do you think you can make a video on the cardstock and laminating process...haha please?
I make them the day before. If you do that the icing absorbs the coloring and it gets darker over time. Plus for the red I add just a few drops of crimson red from wilton. Hope the answer is helpful 😁
I don't have the cutters so what I do is find a pic online, print on card stock and laminate it with packing tape. I always make sure my dough is rolled out and I put it in the freezer for about an hour to get nice and firm. Then I just lay my laminated pic on the dough and cut it out with my xacto knife. Its best to laminate the cardstock because the butter in the dough gets in the paper and it sticks and a mess. I show I do it in my Unicorn cookies th-cam.com/video/qLA5EXLR1ww/w-d-xo.html Hope that helps :)
Always Eaton Sweets thank you so much! That’s such a smart trick.. you can have every cookie cutter in the world without having to buy them! Haha. Thanks for sharing :)
heck yeah and I save them all after I use them just in case I get another order for those. And since they are laminated I can wipe them off. I do admit though that when I do have a large order it is a blessing to have a cutter and no need to hand cut a bunch. lol Thanks so much!!!
