  • A quick video tutorial explaining how I nail exposure with the GH5M2 camera. This will work on the GH6 and any other camera with LUT preview assist. No external monitor or rig needed. Again, sorry for the garbage audio, hahah! Thanks for watching!
Link to color grading central video where you can get the LUT. When I did it, I had to sign up for their Instagram and received a link to download via email. This was a while ago tho. This is a great video and he explains it so much better than I do, please watch! ahahah!

Hi there, thanks for the video. Quick Q from me, I'm used to just setting my zebra to something like 80% and seeing the zebra lines as an indication of overexposed ares. Whereas when using a base level and range set I'm actually looking for the zebra lines to be on things like peoples faces because the lines showing on things now indicate correct exposure, instead of incorrect, right?

yes, you would like the lines on the faces if you are exposing for the face and have the zebras set to base 40%. You can also set 2 sets of zebra's on the GH5M2 and keep your other one at 80 if you like. It will vary a bit based on skin tone. Experiment and see what you prefer. Thanks for watching!! 😀

Will it work on the GH5?

I am not sure, I don't have one. If a GH5 lets you add a preview lut, it should work

@@nimbleglimpse It has that function... But is this the same as using an external monitor with false color?

@@terrygriffin5201 I'm not really sure, as I don't have one, but it probably should. Do a test, take a video and bring it into your video editor and look at the scopes to see where they land. Sorry, as I do not have a GH5, I couldn't be sure. I assume it will work tho.
