We crate trained our pup, but he never slept in a crate. He had free rein of the living room at night by himself and closed off the rest of the house with baby gates.
My pup is freshly adopted today 5 months old. Would not sleep all night. Finally gave in took out for a walk 10 minutes didn't go. Tried putting back in crate and wouldn't even lay down. Started crying etc The second I gave in and opened the crate he jumped on my bed with me curled on my lap and went in to the deepest sleep I've ever seen, I've never heard a dog snore 🤣 Is one or two nights in the beginning going to hinder it so much? I think first couple days would be bond building and showing trust and love, no? Hopefully get a response cause I am super curious to the thoughts of that and im a first time dog owner. I'm ready for the training though
I'm single I love my dog tremendously but I'll be damned if he's going to sleep in the bed with me if I had a girlfriend yeah I'd let her sleep in the bed with me but not a dog come on he sleeps right next to me on the floor and his little bed when I was married we had two big dogs and they almost pushed me out of bed but now that I'm alone no as much as I love my little guy and he is little and he seems to be quite happy I toss and turn and I'd probably roll over on him but I guess the people enjoy having her dogs next to him sleeping hey it's finally Danny it's just not for me

What if you dog is crated during the day with work. I feel so bad
