    Nimrod was also called Amraphel. (Gen 14:1). This is backed up by other texts like Jasher. I don't know about him being called Asshur? One might make that assumption because his name comes up in the line of Ham, but it might be a stretch. As for Noah having other sons, the Bible is clear. 3 sons and that's it.

    • @DiligoBarba
      @DiligoBarba 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      Well it depends on what you
      mean if you're referring to
      God saying us that is because
      God is a multi dimensional
      being where the physics allow
      for a being to be more than one person. If you're talking about God making many
      languages then no we don't
      have a discrepancy the context of the verse is the people of Babal being in rebellion against God he
      told them to be fruitful and multiply go over all the earth. And they are deliberately trying to build a tower in man's glory in this case Nimrod I believe.
      So God changed the
      languages, every group of
      people understood THEIR OWN group but NOT ANY
      of the others. So they had
      to do what God said and that
      was to populate the entire earth. The people talking to the other group simply couldn't understand each other to continue rebelling.
      So God was creating
      division not confusion for
      it's own sake. Why do that
      because The Lord likes variety
      and He is comprehensive in
      his creation.

      God diffuses language for one reason: he promised Noah, that he won’t destroy mankind anymore through water. In order to be faithful to his word, he had to separate mankind by a cultural boundary so he invented languages. When the sinnature of men surpassed so that God had to sent judgement, he could use people groups for Disziplin. That’s the only reason why god created different languages. But when Christian’s start to understand Gods word without the Holy Spirit then all kind of fabulous nonsense comes out. For the devil is a great theologian.

      Huge Amen to that because you can search the scriptures throughout and you'll never see anyone authorized the teach opinion and call it God's word . Jesus never commanded water baptism for the church. Just the opposite he said John truly baptized in water under the old Covenant and you will be baptized with the holy spirit that would be under the New covenant. The world religion of Christianity is following the first rider in Rev. on the White horse who is a phony. he's conquering greatly but he is not on the narrow road. The world religion of Christianity has played semantics with almost every important word in the New Testament and how anyone could think that the book of James is compatible with Jesus and Paul is beyond me. Everyone read about Abraham's justification in Genesis 15 6 and then go to what James says about Abrams justification. Then go to acts 21 and notice that the people that followed James wanted to kill Paul the Apostle for preaching the gospel and not religious traditions . Please note these are not Christ rejecters these people that supposedly accepted Jesus did so under their banner. When the Roman soldier calm down the crowd and let Paul talk they were silent when he talked about Jesus but he wouldn't have mentioned going to the gentiles all hell broke loose. Read the scriptures & stop letting other people tell you they're a Bible and you have to get dipped in water with three names chanted over you and all that other nonsense.

      The answer lies in Chapter 6 of Genesis. It tells of the B'nai Elohim's incursion into Humanity. These ''sons of God'' - rebel angels - descended to Earth, manifested in humanoid form, and proceeded to mate with Human women. The result was a hybrid breed of humanoids; the Nephilim. This forbidden inbreeding would have jeopardised God's entire plan of redemption, by polluting the line that would bring about the Saviour. The situation got so bad that by the time of Noah... who was ''perfect in his generations'' (a statement about his pedigree... NOT his behaviour)... there were extremely few totally human persons left on Earth. Noah's chances of finding a wife suitable to bring about an untarnished line of humans diminished so badly that he had to wait until he was 480 years old before a wife was available for him.

    Read Leviticus 18 to learn that “uncover nakedness” is a euphemism for “sex”. It’s a rational conjecture that Ham did not want other siblings with whom he would be forced to shared global inheritance. By having sex with his mother, he defiled her (see Dinah) and alienated her from Noah. Interestingly, it was newly-conceived Canaan who was cursed. To the reader, it seems unjust to curse anyone other than Ham (whose entire lineage is denigrated in Jewish writings).
    If Ham’s singular sin was to gossip about his father, why would Canaan have to pay?
    If Ham had sex with Noah or castrated Noah, why would Canaan pay?

    • @DebraCollins-fq4jo
      @DebraCollins-fq4jo 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The wife is referred as the husband's nakedness. When a man lies with a married woman, he has uncovered the nakedness of that man. So, Ham saw his father's nakedness by lying with Noah's wife, Ham's mother. This would imply that Noah's wife would bare Ham's son, Canaan. This would be a cursed child. Noah cursed him. Perhaps Noah forced his son, Ham, to enter another land, drove him away where his ancestors settled in Africa. Just a thought.....😊

    • @efef6853
      @efef6853 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      There is a difference between SEEING and UNCOVERING. In Genesis 9 it says Ham SAW the nakedness, he did not UNCOVER the nakedness. Your theory that Ham had relations with noah's wife has no basis in reality. If Ham's actions had to do with relations then why does the Bible say that Shem and japeth turned their backs so they wouldn't SEE the nakedness. Were Shem and japeth not trying to have relations with noah's wife. The obvious answer is NO. Ham's actions had nothing to do with physical relations with noah's wife or noah himself.
      Ham or Canaan were never cursed. Do the words of man have the same power as the words of God. Does a man have the power to decide the fate of a person or people or does God have the only power to decide the fate of a person or people. God himself never placed a curse on Ham or Canaan in Genesis 9. All we read in Genesis 9 is the spiteful and vindictive words of a drunken father. Notice God doesn’t say a single word in Genesis 9 starting from verse 20 all the way to the end of the chapter verse 29. Reuben, the first son of Jacob/Israel slept with his father’s wife in Genesis 35, why were Reuben and his descendants not cursed to become slaves? Which is a worse sin, seeing your father naked as Ham did or sleeping with your father’s wife as Reuben did.
      Ham or Canaan are supposed to be cursed but Reuben doesn’t get cursed even though Reuben committed a sin a thousand times worse than the sin Ham committed? It doesn’t make sense for Ham or Canaan to be cursed but Reuben to get off with a slap on the wrist for the greater sin Reuben committed.
      If the Canaanites are supposed to be a cursed people then why does Jesus have three Canaanite ancestors, Tamar, Rahab, and Bathsheba. We know for certain that 4 tribes of Israel are descendants of Ham through the mothers. Judah, the father of the tribe of Judah, married a Canaanite woman named Tamar. Levi, father of the tribe of Levi, married a Canaanite woman. Joseph, father of the tribes of Manasseh and the tribe of Ephraim, married an Egyptian woman who is a descendant of Ham. Despite what bigoted so-called Christians would prefer us to believe, God never held a hateful feeling towards Ham or his descendants. If God did hold hateful feelings towards Ham and his descendants then why did he allow at least four tribes of Israel to be descended from Ham. Israel, the chosen people of God, is a mixture of Ham and Shem. Clearly from the Bible we can see that God doesn’t hold any hateful feelings or regard towards Ham and his descendants.
      If the Canaanites were supposed to be a cursed people then why did Jesus have a Canaanite Apostle.
      Matthew 10:2-4
      “2 NOW THE NAMES OF THE TWELVE APOSTLES ARE THESE; The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother;
      3 Philip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the publican; James the son of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus, whose surname was Thaddaeus;
      4 SIMON THE CANAANITE,”
      Did you read that? The Bible says Simon the CANAANITE was an apostle of Jesus.
      The so-called curse of Ham is always used by people who want to justify their wicked actions. The so-called curse of Ham was first used by islamic arabs to justify the ENSLAVEMENT of Africans during the East AFRICAN SLAVE trade. It was then adopted by Europeans and used to justify the ENSLAVEMENT of AFRICANS during the West AFRICAN slave trade. Whenever the curse of Ham is invoked it’s always invoked by wicked people who want a biblical excuse to hate and hurt BLACK people.
      The story of noah is a sad one. It starts positively with him being faithful and not partaking in the sin of the pre-flood world but it ends with him being a drunkard who says some evil words against his grandson. Noah’s story is a good example of why it’s never a good idea to drink alcohol. Time and time again we are told in the Bible that we should never curse.
      Romans 12:14
      “14 Bless them which persecute you: BLESS, and CURSE NOT.”
      James 3:8-10
      “8 BUT THE TONGUE CAN NO MAN TAME; IT IS AN UNRULY EVIL, FULL OF DEADLY POISON.
      9 Therewith bless we God, even the Father; AND therewith CURSE WE MEN, which are made after the similitude of God.
      10 OUT OF THE SAME MOUTH PROCEEDETH blessing and CURSING. My brethren, THESE THINGS OUGHT NOT SO TO BE.”
      It’s quite unfortunate that noah was unable to tame his tongue and stop himself from speaking poison. To this day Noah’s words are being used by wicked people as an excuse to hate and hurt BLACK people. God is not a God of curses, He is a God of blessings. God longs to bless and not to curse. God certainly is not going to curse a people because their ancestor thousands of years ago saw someone naked. How ridiculous would that be. What good is a curse supposed to accomplish anyway? We have to watch out for wicked individuals who twist the Bible and use it to justify evil actions. In Genesis 18 God says of Abraham...
      “17 And the Lord said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do;
      18 Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, AND ALL THE NATIONS OF THE EARTH SHALL BE BLESSED IN HIM?”
      Don’t let anyone deceive you into believing in the false so-called curse of Ham or Canaan. God’s purpose is to BLESS ALL THE NATIONS OF THE EARTH.
      John 3:16
      “16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
      God’s love, blessings and salvation is available to all people, no matter who your ancestor is Shem, Ham or Japheth.

      @@DebraCollins-fq4jo You may believe that man’s words are equal to God but I don’t. Do you really believe seeing someone naked is a CRIME that deserves the PUNISHMENT of being CURSED. The fact that God said nothing during that whole episode from Genesis 9:20 until the end of the chapter should tell you that God never intended for anyone to be CURSED. There is nothing in the Bible to support your false theory. If you believe that then there is something wrong with you, it shows that you have the same EVIL spirit that noah had in genesis 9. Where in the Bible do we see Jacob saying “CURSED be so and so”? Were the sons of Jacob CURSED, is that why God chose the tribe of Levi to be priests, do you have to be a CURSED people for God to give you the honour of being the priests of Israel? What you claim about men having equal power with God to CURSE anyone doesn’t make sense. The only time people speak about anyone being CURSED is to justify their own EVIL actions which they intend to do against the supposedly CURSED person or group of people. The Bible says in James 3:8-10 that we are not supposed to curse anyone.
      In James 3:8-10 we read that it’s not God’s will that we should CURSE anyone. So if the word of God says we are not supposed to CURSE then why would God fulfil the CURSE of noah. God tells men not to CURSE but chooses to fulfil the CURSES of men? Does God suffer from SCHIZOPHRENIA? Does God say one thing but do another? James 3:8 is right when it says that the tongue is full of poison. Because of the poisonous words drunk noah said in genesis 9, EVIL people have taken noah’s words and have used them to justify their own WICKED actions. You are doing the same, taking the EVIL words of individuals in the Bible and using them to teach FALSE theories that promote EVIL actions against fellow human beings.

      “2 NOW THE NAMES OF THE TWELVE APOSTLES ARE THESE; The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother;
      3 Philip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the publican; James the son of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus, whose surname was Thaddaeus;
      “17 And the Lord said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do;
      18 Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, AND ALL THE NATIONS OF THE EARTH SHALL BE BLESSED IN HIM?”

    I wanted to touch on some key points that I think you really misunderstand about this passage. I would be open to finding out where you get these extra sources too like the idea that Noah had more sons. The flood happened according to the genealogies in the year 1656 after creation. Methuselah dies that year within the first month and seventeen days. The book of Enoch which is not considered canon says that God had waited for Methuselah to die and this would keep with Methuselah living the longest and his father having been a man God loved that never saw death and was taken by God. Methuselah's son Lamech is recorded in the book of Enoch as having been wicked and having killed a man to his hurt. Lamech lived 777 years. Noah however was a perfect man of his time. God chose Noah and his family to save upon the ark. The Bible and other sources I have read never say Noah had more children. There may have well been a good reason for that as well. Men had become so wicked and we know how old Noah is but as is the custom Jacob was much older than Rachel and Leah. It's thought and argued amongst scholars that Joseph was quite a bit older than Mary. This was often the way as a man who had worked and could afford the dowry of virgins would often pay that to the father for the hand of his daughter. In Jacob's case he worked for 20 years for his two wives and his belongings.
    Secondly, you are right to say that Nimrod was a "black" man. The curse of Ham to his children and how they would be made into servitude of their brothers is glossed over because you forget that everyone was of one language and indeed moreover they were of one race until the tower of Babel with the exception of the children of Ham. Have you ever wondered where the races came from? Science would have you believe that dozens of "evolutionary" events took place between the same type of prehistoric homo erectus we'll cleverly call Mitochondrial Eve and Y Chromosome Adam. The hilarious part of this is that they recognize that their "Eve" and their "Adam" didn't live during the same time but not too far off from one another. This is because Adam wasn't Adam. Adam was Noah. Our closest male common ancestor that every human shares is Noah's three sons. They all share their father's DNA. Their wives however may have not been related and thus to find our closest common female ancestor that everyone on planet Earth shares we may have to go back closer to Eve herself. Meanwhile though the Babel story tells us at the end that God confounded their speech and then what did he do? He scattered them over all the Earth. All The Earth they were scattered. Science and archeology agree that the cradle of civilization either started in North Africa or Mesopotamia or Sumaria. The Bible says as much. The Bible tells you when the Tower of Babel event happens and why Abram and Terah were nomads promised a land to their children. Peleg was named so because he lived when the Earth was divided. Now often the names of places are mentioned in the Bible after the sons of the sons of Noah. Magog is a good example of this in Modern day Russia. The Palestinians or Philistines in olden times were known by that name instead of the original Pathrusim because of the attachment of Ismael and Esau to the bloodline some time later. This would fulfill the prophecy and promise God made to Abraham concerning Ishmael and the blessing Isaac gave to Esau though God hated Esau. As far as Nimrod and your idea that he was called two names I think you forget that during his time the earth was of one language. When the end of the chapter says these were the families of the sons of Noah and before that mentioning each son and mentioning language(s) attached to those sons it's talking about after Babel. Before that the Earth had one language.
    I find it funny that in these early generations after the flood that every one of those turned away from God and worshipped idols except Abraham and a few others. Abraham was born 2008 two years after Noah died 2006. Noah was born 1056 not long after Adam had died 930. Lamech, Noah's father lived during Adam's life. They didn't have the written word for some time but according to archeology the first Sanskrit and early writing was thought to have been found in what they called Mesopotamia and Sumeria predating hieroglyph of Egypt. Before that the children of Shem, Ham and Japheth would have told their children and they in turn would have told their children by word of mouth the stories of Cain and Abel or Adam Eve and the Garden or the flood which has been passed down in nearly every ancient culture. Also, the Bible mentions the sons of God coupling and having children with the daughters of man. From this came the Nephilim, Giants and mighty men of renown. The Bible mentions that it was this way before the flood and after. This is very significant and well may explain the legend of Hercules/Heracles as well as Gilgamesh. These stories were adopted and passed down and after the languages had been changed and God changed man and scattered him, these stories were being told to children in all the cultures as if it were their own culture.
    Lastly, Abram and his father traveled and after Terah died Abram would continue his travels and go into Canaan and then Egypt before returning to Canaan. This is significant as the people were not the same as Abram in the lands that he entered as he was the first Jew yet he seemed to speak the language of Pharaoh in Egypt. Now if you really want to have a conversation ask me who Melchezidek really was. Daniel 10 and Revelation 1 hold the answer. Thanks for reading and God Bless.

      When you don't have heavenly wisdom and are not filled with the Holy Spirit of God, you end up teaching nonsense like the person in the video is doing. The things he says, he is pulling it out of his EVIL imagination. What he says in the video has zero basis in the Bible.
      We are told in 1st Timothy 1:4 not to give heed to fiction and things that do not edify the church.
      “4 Neither GIVE HEED TO FABLES AND ENDLESS GENEALOGIES, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do.”
      The guy in the video is giving heed to fables and genealogies that serve no good purpose but only end up creating confusion.
      In 1st Timothy 4:3-4 we are told that the WICKED will reject the truth and turn to fables.
      “3 For the time will come when THEY WILL NOT ENDURE SOUND DOCTRINE; BUT AFTER THEIR OWN LUSTS SHALL THEY HEAP TO THEMSELVES TEACHERS, HAVING ITCHING EARS;
      4 And THEY SHALL TURN AWAY THEIR EARS FROM THE TRUTH, AND SHALL BE TURNED UNTO FABLES.”
      The guy in the video is a fulfilment of prophecy. He belongs to the class of the WICKED who will turn away from biblical truth and teach myths.

    I truly wish you would have continued reading in Acts 2 and included verses 38 & 39 where Peter answered the questions from the crowd: "What must we do to be saved"? Man's unity with God is made complete with the infilling of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance.

    Is the Hebrew Bible referred to early in the message called the Talmud? ...written to fill in the 400 years that God had stopped talking to the Jews? If so, I understand it to NOT be the word of God.
    The apocrypha books are ok for imperfect history reading but not perfect canon scripture.

    In Ezekiel chapter 23, we find a stinging denunciation of God’s people for their unfaithfulness. In many ways, this chapter parallels chapter 16. Like that earlier message, chapter 23 uses the imagery of prostitution. Jerusalem is said to be the younger sister and Samaria, her older sister. Both chapters show how the younger sister came to follow the older one into prostitution but then exceeded her in wickedness and immorality. In chapter 23, Jehovah gives the two sisters’ names: Oholah is the older sister, Samaria, the capital of the ten tribe kingdom of Israel; Oholibah is the younger sister, Jerusalem, the capital of Judah-Ezekiel 23:1-4; The two chapters have further parallels. Perhaps most significant are these: The prostitutes start as wives to Jehovah and then betray him. Also, there is promise of hope. Chapter 23 offers less explicit hope of redemption, but it does parallel chapter 16 when Jehovah says; “ I will put an end to your obscene conduct and your prostitution”.- Ezekiel 16:16,20,21,37,38,41,42; Chapter 23: 4,11,22,23,27,37;

    Noah was an albino he was born with white woolly hair, and his eyes were like the rays of the sun.. his father worried that he was one of the Nephilim because of the colour of his eyes. His father took him to Methuselah the grandfather, and it was Methuselah that said that he wasn’t one and this boy great things would come because of him ..It makes sense that all the different nationalities on earth could’ve only has come through such a person otherwise we would all be dark skin. Not trying to be mean or anything just trying to educate you. That’s not why we would all be dark skinned…that is exactly why there is every single race.

    Great insight about human desire to stay together and build human strength, globalism/unification versus scattering, central control, as if humankind could control everything, in opposition to God's will. God's Spirit matters, and will be the new foundation when we finally get to end-times. I didn't find the race discussion consistent or enlightening, even in the present desire for race-blind unity. Nimrod, as a type of world-ruler, would have paid little attention to race, just power over all, including enslaving other races (including military and specifically white slavery). It's a bit pyrrhic (and maybe convenient to smooth over) to dismiss race-based classifications in ancient pasts by assigning conflicts to countries or tribes (which were largely racial combinations led by racial rulers along family genealogies). In a modern framing, Philistines who were from many countries and several races are being collectivized in characterizing today's Palestinians, which are non-racial, since these are mainly Arabs and other miscellaneous residents (not even mainly Canaanites) in the abstract Roman description of Palestine, and not even ever dominant in history like other peoples including the descendants of Shem. Yet Palestinians today are labeled as if they constitute a race (ethnic cleansing and genocide terminology). So race and original family lineages mattered in the past and still matter today, and remain one of the factors that most divide us and keep us from developing human unity. What does God want? Spiritual unity, but especially on the matter of religions, we are as divided as can be, even in 3-4 bulk religions instead of hundreds or thousands of gods.

    So you have no biblical basis for your opinion, Noah having more than 3 sons is just your opinion.
    Genesis 6: 10 Noach fathered three sons, Shem, Ham and Yefet.
    This clearly states, "Noah fathered 3 sons, whereas Genesis 5:4 clearly states."After Shet was born, Adam lived another 800 years and had both sons and daughters." We aren't told there names because it is of no impotance this is a common occurrence.
    Race according to skin color was a thing in the ancient world, Zipporah was Ethiopian.
    Numbers 12:1 Miryam and Aharon began criticizing Moshe on account of the Ethiopian woman he had married, for he had in fact married an Ethiopian woman.

    • @didibrant7326
      @didibrant7326 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Zipporah was a Midianite, the daughter of Jethro. She was Moses' 2nd wife.
      First wife was Adoniah, a Canaanite who was the widow of the former King of Cush. When Moses was 27, he was crowned King of Cush and had to marry the widowed Queen of Cush and reign with her for 40 years but never touched her because Hebrews were forbidden to marry Canaanites. When she got rid of Moses, he went to Midian where Jethro jailed him for 10 years without food but Zipporah fed him on the sly. They married upon his release.
      After the Exodus from Egypt, Moses returned to Midian for Zipporah and 2 sons and at some time in the wandering in the wilderness, Numbers 12:1 says he had marrried an Ethiopian ( a Cushite). Notice the word "had". When? Was it yet another wife he had in Cush? or someone who came with the Exodus?
      Btw, the extra info comes from the Book of Jasher Chapters 73 and 76.

      @@kimberlynichole7402 I know the Bible is the most accurate . It says Zipporah was the daughter of Jethro the Midian priest and on top of that Jethro lived in Midian. Zipporah is only mentioned three times in the Bible at Ex. 2:21, 4:25, and 18:2. All mentions of Jethro lead to same conclusion. I used Strong's Exhaustive Concordance ( every single word in the Bible listed), 1990; King James Bible, 1967; Smith's Bible Dictionary, 2003. What are your sources?

      I don’t think that is at all true. First, Noah’s wife is never mentioned in any of the written texts as even being present during this incident. Secondly, Noah passed out naked and was found already naked according to the text. He did not “uncover” his father’s nakedness or “uncover his father’s skirt”. It is written that his father was found naked and Ham made fun of him instead of covering him up. The text also says the brothers were standing outside of the tent when these things happened. I find it hard to believe that Ham had sex with Noah’s wife or as some people suggest that Ham had sex with Noah, while the brothers were outside and then what…? He went and showed his brothers what he had done?? It is very wrong and dangerous to refer to Jewish fables and other so called oral traditions because we have written record and it should not be deviated from in order to teach people Gods Word.

Yes it means he had sex with his fathers wife., which may or may not have been his mother. And it's not like Noah had supernatural power to deliver a curse on Canaan and his innocent descendants. God didnt curse canaan.
