What do you want Ming to do to prove they love Joe? Honestly I know he was selfish from the start but he proved for 3 years that Joe was still alive, he wanted to Catch up. And fighting with his family, we have to accept that he has become a good person 😢😢😢

I don't know, but i feel the secretary has a thing for Ming's brother Mike. I think he is just dedicated to Ming as his boss and doesn't have any romantic feelings for him.

They put this loan sharks and kidnapping storyline, Joe getting in the deadlike situation again in the series, which weren't in the novel. So, I totally lost it there. Tong should be punished as in the novel. And why made Joe a stupid too good for his own person? 😢

We can have different opinions but I don’t like how everyone keeps calling Joe stupid :/
Joe is nice. We’ve known this from the very start that Joe is nice and kind (too much if anything, yeah), and we also know how much he values the idea of family because he lived most of his life alone and without his parents. It was still super frustrating to watch but i don’t like seeing everyone act like Joe is just being stupid for no reason?
I feel like it’s been pretty clear how Joe is and why he acts like this but idk, beauty in the eye of the beholder and all that
Edit; btw I haven’t read the novel, this is just me talking about how he’s portrayed in the show and that he’s had consistent characterization this whole time

@@theYammy I get calling someone like Joe stupid can be a bit too much and can be perceived as an insult, but the decisions Joe has made over and over again shows that he lacks "common sense and good judgement" which is the definition of "stupid/foolish". While not discrediting that he is a kind and nice person, he unfortunately never learns from his past missteps and keeps putting himself in precarious situations.

Joe is a nice and kind person, no doubt, and I have never felt nor called him stupid before, even when he falls for Ming again and again, but at that very moment when he decided to put on the mask and stand in for Tong to help Tong from the goons, I just felt the series writer just made him stupid only on that situation, cos Joe in the novel will never do that for Tong. Because of Tong, he had died once, and now he is willingly running into a dangerous situation just to help his no. 1 enemy?
P.S. I don't find him stupid when he took that bullet for Ming cos he loved Ming.

In the original novel Joe doesn't get shot and facing death another time. I don't like that authors made this change at all😡🤬😡!!! It ruins many things and beautiful scenes from the original tell!!

Are we watching the same series either way tong will always be a part of their lives his sister whom he loves is very much pregnant and in love with tong so technically if he can help both Joe and tong why not tong is important to his sister and I am so proud of Ming the situation was beyond his control and he did his best in case you didn't notice Joe did not phone him to ask if he should trade places with tong he just made the choice and Ming had to fix the mess a mess he did not create tong created it so give him a break

We can all state our opion and view points and i wouldn't help someone who hurt me time and time again hence my stament about joe and tong .so u want them together and i dont thats our opinions ☺️
