- Dr. Perla Hernandez Trumkul is a dedicated advocate for gender equality, tirelessly working to garner public support for addressing gender gaps and wage disparities and implementing equitable social and political policies. She currently serves as the District Chief of Staff for United States Congresswoman Grace F. Napolitano, overseeing the local district office and managing a team committed to serving the San Gabriel Valley in the 31st Congressional District. In this influential role, she has harnessed opportunities to identify, align, and coordinate diverse stakeholders, forming coalitions to mobilize local and national resources in addressing the most pressing issues faced by communities and the nation as a whole.
Dr. Hernandez Trumkul's advocacy reached new heights when she served as a Commissioner for the Los Angeles County Initiative on Women and Girls.
