I deliberately made them on both sides, because when I tried to animate him pulling them out, it didn’t work out because in order for him to pull out one of the swords, he had to literally break his wrist lol. It also didn’t look as cool as him pulling out the blades in a criss cross pattern

oh shit!!!!! this goes so hard! for a while now after playing the ultrakill the first time a couple of weeks ago, ive been thinking of taking up animating and remaking some of these scenes. granted i have no experience in animating and id be starting from scratch, but its an idea that i kinda want to make reality. one of the scenes i think a lot about is this one, the confrontation of gabriel and v1 in act 2. this video makes me think about how much i want to make my own interpretation. its so good and impressive in its own right, but it in itself makes me inspired to do my own take too. sorry for the rant i just really like this animation

Yeah I understand that, but in my version, v1 wasn’t the only one of his kind to be created, but instead was just the first to become sentient
I didn’t have any models of those machines that fit the style I was doing, so I just improvised
