Cloudy means no plankton plume. No plankton plume means good vis...Looks like you all were only about 25-50 yards offshore. Niiiiice.

That's true! The other side of cold water and clouds is good visibility. Focus on the positive!

Awwww.. that looked pretty awesome. Miss diving with you. I’ve been so focused on line dives for this past comp but with that outta the way, I’d like to just do all the other fun dives that I enjoy doing.

Good hunting and great of you to go back and find the ling that got away. Hope your foot is ok. Was the specific location one you didnt divulge before either it looks familiar 😊

Haha yeah, I've been there a few times. It's a great spot. My foot is pretty good! Two months later and it's still tender though. If I step on a rock and pressure is put on the spot they pulled it out I definitely feel it!

I caught my first Pudget Sound King Crab on my fishing hook, it was too big to put in our 5 gallon bucket. I thought i snagged the bottom and was going to cut the line, it was a beast. Unfortunately it was entangled in fishing lines and lures. Thats how it hooked my line, it tasted ok.

That's crazy man. It's a shame about it being entangled but lucky for you. They are awesome, I went out yesterday and two of my friends got lucky and found one.

Awesome video. Sorry bout the foot. How often you guys get goosenecks out there? I love those.

Thanks man! I grab some almost every trip to that spot. They are lots of work to get off the rocks though so only a couple handfuls and I cool em with the mussels.

Well, at least any fish that is lost while spearfishing won't go to waste when it dies. Little critters like starfish and crap will get a free meal to help them reproduce and populate our oceans

Hi Chris. Like your videos a lot. A single sea urchin is of course enough to hurt a lot, but one day, accidentally, a friend had stepped on 2 sea urchins (one for each foot) while coming out of a swim. The pain brought him to his knees on top of 2 other sea urchins. Screaming, he then put his hands, yep, on 2 more sea urchins. True story. Can you tell us where this beach is? I would go pick up some sea urchins.

That's unreal man that would be brutal! Was that in British Columbia? I hear some species can be venomous too. Shoot me a message on instagram and I'll tell you some spots for urchin, I don't want to spot the locations for everyone though haha. Cheers!
