Because I was stealthing around in some vents and was about to stealth kill these two nazi soldiers but one of them was in the middle of talking about how he was gonna have sex with a girl or something. But at some point he said that he and her were laying in bed and his friend corrected him and said that its "we lied in bed" not "we laid in bed" and he went on about properly speaking and respecting the language. He was being a grammar nazi. I'm honestly not joking, that was dialogue that happened between 2 completly random and unimportant NPC enemies. That being said, they were speaking German so idk what the friend was correcting since I'm assuming German doesn't have the same lay and lie issue
The piano part was so beautiful, it almost makes me not wanna die knowing he doesn’t know there’s a guard/push back button and he would’ve taken a quarter of the damage. And the fact he knifes every box and jar, but shoots every goat and window.

Both games say press L1 many times- -that’s Ethan’s whole unique character trait; he can block damage with his hands because he’s molded so he can repair his body (as long as he has arklay herb medicine and the body part(s). Narratively, the guard is shown to the player when he gets his arm sawn off and then Jack shows you how to do the healing when he chops off your leg and gives you a health bottle in the beginning of RE7 and Ethan’s like WTF and it’s a plot point in 8 as well.

With the vampire daughter? I did pretty much the same thing in the demo (except I didn't have the landmine lol). The game doesn't do a good job of indicating whether you're actually supposed to fight her or run away and the escape route is really easy to miss in the heat of the moment, especially since everything in this game is dark AF.
