    Deserving and handsome young Champion. No hate or ego, people will support him.

    • @carkod
      @carkod 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      that's because he is young. If you ask Djokovic or Medevdev, they will give you an entire argument why some rules should be added, some should be removed and those things sometimes make people hate you or love you.

      @@carkod You seem to be under the impression that Sinner will deliberately become argumentative as he gets older. Some people get along with others and some live to make waves. Predicting that people will grow to hate him sounds like wishful thinking for some reason.

    I really have love for the new generation, for a long long time i always wanted to see that tennis will be safe hands after the big 3. I’m not writing anyone off but it’s a tough reality that the older the tennis players become the more they will decline in movements and of cause injuries don’t make the decline any better 😢, so sorry to see the most flexible player like Djokovic showing that his body cannot handle 5 sets matches that well anymore. It was wise of him to listen to his body, in as much as we enjoy watching them entertain us, we don’t want to see them indue the injuries to please us and end up not enjoying life with their families after tennis 😊

    • @mattconco
      @mattconco 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It's a valid question in general. It crossed my mind for Fritz at Wimbledon and again here. Im not sure I have a final opinion on it. It seems so wrong because we arent used to it, but it would mean the viewers still get the same number of matches - and I suppose theres the question of, if you win but you are unable to play the next match, how much did you really win? But yeah it goes against the whole ethos of the brutality of the single-elim format used in tennis - if you lose, you're out. Don't think it will ever ever change, but it might be a thing that gets put in place if we were to completely start over with the sport hypothetically.

    • @heavybattle6650
      @heavybattle6650 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      @@mattconco I dont think it is a valid question. if you win the match the loser gets knocked out and doesn't deserve to continue. If the winner cant even show up for the next match thats between him and the next match opponent. The story of the defeated opponent ends with his defeat. He has no right to continue if he lost.
      And what about Koepfer losing to Federer who didn't even have an injury when he pulled out in round four of FO21? Not a sound about that from ANY journalist. This question right here is another blatant proof of the media's double standard negative bias towards Djokovic. Even now even when he has broken every major record they keep at it. Its simply disgusting.

    • @mattconco
      @mattconco 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@heavybattle6650 In this interview case, it sounds like the reporter has seen the suggestion come up, perhaps on socials and put it to Sinner to get his view. It's not definite that HE THINKS that this is how the sport should operate.
      Either way it works, someone is going to benefit from a withdrawl. You rightly say its unfair that someone would get a chance to continue the tournament having lost - but you could also argue its unfair that someone has the opportunity to win a tournament playing only 6 matches and not 7...
      But yeah maybe the people making this suggestion this time around have a little more sympathy with Fran than with Taylor.

    Don't shed a tear for Joker. He got a good draw being top seed and still had to play two 5 setters to lower seeded players. It's good he withdrew because Ruud would have certainly made him suffer. With a meniscus tear, it's really over. He's a grinder without two good wheels and that means death. He was playing like crap this year even before the injury and now he has an even more excuse to play like manure.

    • @heavybattle6650
      @heavybattle6650 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +8

      Musetti has taken him to 5 sets before and he is a very tough opponent on clay and he probably played the match of his life so far. Djokovic was destroying Cerundolo until the injury. You have no idea how he would've fared vs Ruud and he has never looked for excuses. If he was searching for one he would've pulled out during the match when he could barely put his weight on his injured leg.
      In general you sould like a shittalker thats happy that Djokovic is out so just be happy if it makes you so, no need to embarass yourself by writing nonsense for everyone to read.
