Finally a translator from a foreign language to english (luckily I know enough spanish), who actually translates proper sentences and doesnt cut it down because they can't remember what was said. This translator is excellent!! Let alone DLC!!!

We took a road trip with our kids to Milwaukee to watch our beloved Reds VS the Brewers on Saturday. On our way back home I told my kids that they just witnessed history and they will be telling their kids someday that they were sitting on the third base line in person when it happened. Truly unbelievable and so much fun to watch this YOUNG team!

Does anyone know how or where I can apply to become an interpreter with the MLB? I am a professional interpreter and with all due respect to Jorge, he is not doing a good job here. Elly is saying so much more than what the interpreter is giving the fans. As you can see Elly understands English really well, he is just a bit shy about his pronunciation and that’s the reason for the interpreter. Wait until he becomes a bit more comfortable with the English language. We will even enjoy just listening to him. Hit like if you think we need a better interpreter.

And the pitcher is called the “pitcher”, not whatever he direct-translated it to. Regardless that was a good translation. I know it took me a few minutes to start understanding the accent.

And, Chapman was the biggest Hispanic, homegrown star since Tony Perez or Concepcion. I would assume there is a difference between Cuban and Venezuelan Spanish (dialectically) and D.R. But, I do think this guy is special and from all reliable accounts, is quite humble...and should be represented as such, verbally.
