It’s important to note that queries that have higher impressions than the previous day may not have higher demand. Your rankinks will directly impact the impressions so if you were not showing up for the query in the previous day it may have lower impressions.
High impressions and low clicks is not so direct that we can just jump on queries and rework on content. I believe what's more helpful is also to consider the position/rank/SERP of the pages while looking at impressions/clicks. Plus, I did observe that every website has a trend to look into like high clicks/sudden dip in clicks on weekends etc.
I just did this. Matched search intent perfectly. Then I check and my results have basically disappeared from the rankings for those search terms. Thanks
One "idea" that I have held true is that Google Search Console > Performance > Queries is *missing* the first query which would be / this would then give the true summary of queries.

No it isn't, because if people aren't seeing what they think is relevant it is in the interest of the searcher to see a rewritten version that matches their expectations.
