Roads to the Lac are fairly narrow but OK. We are 4.5t and it’s not a problem. Best route is through the small village of Bun, then on through Estaing. Narrow in places but just take it easy. Hope you enjoy the Lac.
Don't know of any reason why not. There were several vans wilding there last time we went but there is also a campsite there if you wish to use it. Must go back soon.........lovely place.

Went here May 2018 for 3 nights.Breathtaking.Road to it was a challenge though.
