I am disagreed with your earlier opinion that change had not occurred in third to fourth round of jossa so less chance to decrease in marks in bitsat.
I checked and analyze stats of last three year data and observed that in these years also no changes were noticed in third to fourth round of jossa. Even in 2022, cut off of jossa was very high but remarkable decrement in marks almost 40 marks were recorded. While in 2023, a lot of cut off was decreased, but in bitsat only 8 to 10 markes were decreased. And this year cut off is more lower side than 2022, but ofcourse upside in comparision of 2023.
Actually cut off of bitsat can not predicted and has no meaning. Only factor is working that candidates which are in admitted list of bitsat, have any other better oprtunity or not?
As i and you earlier said that this year bitsat exam was little tougher than jee, and in my observation candidates who got dual and core branch in bits, had have better branch in good nit/iiit. So much more seats of bits should be vacant.
My speculation that till last round about 30 marks will decrease in bitsat.
What is your speculation based upon? And according to your estimate, will there be a cutoff drop noticed for higher branches like ECE? Even 5-6 marks cutoff reduction in the higher branches would be good for me, any guesses?
My speculation is more focused on dual and core branch which have no more importance
