    I don't have an embroidery machine yet, but I told myself if I could learn InkStitch I could justify buying one eventually. Your videos have been a huge help, thank you!

    Like how you add the long way around and little errors that gives lots of clues on doing more than one command in a project. Thank you

    Thank you so much for putting out these videos. There is not much out there like that and in this quality of detail. This is perfect help for a beginner like me!

    Awesome video! Just watched it in the bathroom 😁 The weather is bad outside, with sporadic thunders, and our pup only calms down in our company (husband and I), in the bathroom. Thank you for the great content and for keeping my pup and I calm and entertained 🥰 Outstanding!
    By the way, I love when you make "mistakes" because it shows me what happens when a step is missed.

    Thanks for this. I have learned about some of the finer aspects of satin columns.
    Something I will mention ... you showed you have Incscape Ver 1.2. If you look to the right of the stroke color block in the task bar, there is a number (the size of the stroke). If you right-click on that number, you will get a popup that allows you to change the size and/or measurements of the stroke on the fly. Also, the +/- to the right of that adjusts the opacity of what you have selected.

    Thanks Dale, for another great video.
    I now realize that the rungs attached to the rails indicate which way the stitching will go., Good to know.
    And just so you know. I created keyboard shortcuts for the params, realistic simulator and convert simple to satin commands.

    • @LowTechLinux
      @LowTechLinux  ปีที่แล้ว

      Awesome, glad I could help.
      Ugh, I know, I'm such a slacker. I should have done shortcuts a long time ago. I think that will make a good tutorial lol. 😁

    • @peted31bgn
      @peted31bgn ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not slacking, good to keep the general way to do things in tutorial videos so simple people like myself can understand it.

    great video and always good to re-cover satin stitch.
    just an aside, if you double click in fill/stroke area bottom left it will open the fill and stroke menu

    When I go to move my rails I am unable to move the entire rail at one time even if I select the same way as shown in the video I have no idea how to get this done. It only moves one point at a time.

    • @LowTechLinux
      @LowTechLinux  ปีที่แล้ว

      After you've selected the one node, do ctrl a (command a on Mac) for select all. Then grab one of the nodes and it should move all of them.

      but its not very good either, the open source software blender is sort of the same, very powerful but you can clearly see that it is not any teachers (or guys that will sit in the support answering questions) who have desigen the interface. this is the biggest downside to open sourse software i would say@@LowTechLinux
