So stoked to binge-watch all of the tutorials of people showing off how to make the original Lego Racers cars and cars from real life. Definitely going to give this one a look!

I literally just finished making a replica of the 1974 Porsche 911 set and posted it on r/lego2kdrive
There is a little bit of jank with the builder when you're trying to follow instructions from manuals, because the wheels being set where they are is all predetermined. There's also a significant amount of brick types just not in the game, or at the very least you'll have to unlock them. I'm about 2/3rds through the game and still haven't found the classic 2x1x1 grate looking piece which is a staple on cars.
To be honest I kind of like that. I have to think outside the box to find approximations which is kind of the heart of what Lego is all about, you know?
First thing i will do is create Rocket racer's car from lego racers 2
@zakkangourouxFR I've just tried to make Rocket Racers car but none of the wheel bases are accurate enough for an exact replica. Plus some of the pieces aren't available and I dunno if there's a way to unlock more wheel bases/pieces

the fact that you can run over people in lego games will never cease to get a kick out of me
Seeing cars from Lego city undercover makes me so happy, that was my entire childhood, and now we get to build our own! 😅

As a Lego MOC builder (and youtuber) and fan of racing games I am losing it right now! This is like Lego racers on crack and I love it!
I have a couple Lego Speed Champions sets. Definitely gonna pull out the instructions again and use them to build the cars in this game (when I do eventually get the game)
But is it possible to make the wheels smaller on the speed champions car base?
The Lego Racers throwback is hella strong with this one, so hyped to play it!

i cant wait for the game but the only thing that should be added in the future is the ability to make custom chassis from regular lego plates so you can make 5 & 7 stud wide vehicles and change the wheels on present chassis should really be a thing

There's already been two mclarens confirmed for the game, so there's probably a couple other speed champions cars that we haven't seen yet.

Can be done, I wonder if it is possible to change the size of the wheels upon selecting the vechicle base, as people have already done many legendary cars in this scale but with slightly smaller wheels. The base piece of the xar Blackpanthaa made is the base of the Lego Speed champions cars, for example F&F R34, James Bond's Aston Martin DB5, and more cool and legendary cars

Not sure if this would still apply to regular copies but those who preordered the game also got a Lego set of the preorder items with their physical copy. It is awesome

I can already see people making cars from real life and games like Eddie's Skyline, the M3 GTR E34 from Most Wanted and such
I will make them once I buy it, if it only allows to chose smaller wheels on the last, big car base. There is already a pego set of the F&F R34 in this scale.

Would be rather tempting to use official cars that lego have made before like the lamborghini countach or porsche 911 and using instructions to help create it in this game
Legit had me thinking of the Ferrari FXX but I was like nah considering the build space we're given.

I'm curious if its possible to fully recreate the Speed Champions sets in this game. Like if you had the instructions could you make one properly in game
Every speed champions car that I've seen is made from under 350 pieces, so yes, it's possible
Something that would be cool to see would be if you could create the cars from the speed champions series using the manuals.

Lego is that one company that can make a GTA 6 competitive in Lego style and if you have played their games then you agree to it.
It's cool that you can build cars, but I'm not good with Lego stuff so I probably won't be able to achieve anything that looks remotely good lol
