Can i use this concept to build a stakeholder map for the plastic value chain? With this I do not have a persona of interest but then just to look at the stakeholders on the stakeholder stages, so then how will you advise the allocation of the stakeholders from manufacturer to consumption to waste management then to legislation. Hi there! For this it might help you to build out a journey map first, and only then start with the stakeholder map. It could help you to get a clearer picture of the relevance and interest of each stakeholder.
Similar to a persona, a stakeholder map should always be based on a challenge - hence, the focus of a stakeholder map will depend on what you’d like to analyze. Your service/product/company probably has many different stakeholders. What part of the ecosystem do you want to analyze first? Would you like to see what stakeholders influence your buying processes? Would you like to understand what governmental institutions are affected? Or would you like to analyze stakeholders of a very specific moment of your service?
