@@nanashi5139 I don't mind but it seems kinda empty in hindsight. It's got a tons of variety for sure but it's possibilities were never explored properly.
Bruh I played the SHIT out of this tape back in 99. This whole video tape I had memorized such an awesome snapshot of not just gaming, but myself at 9 years old AND a gamer at that age and era. I almost miss how exclusive and secretive things were. The surprise was so much more amazing when it came time to Play (even if that meant buying a game based on a cool cover that was total dogshit)
I still have my SEGA Dreamcast. It has a ton of Great games....My favorite is Bangai-o. but other games like Super Magnetic Neo and Homebrew games like Splatterhouse Trilogy as well as many other uses of it, keep the Dreamcast hooked up next to my current systems.
@PKGangsta18 ...and I noticed this is the early build that ran at 60 fps and it showed the scrapped levels that never made the final build. I'm surprised this build of the game hasn't been released online yet :/
que chévere tokyo en el 98 justo mi tío estuvo en esos tiempos trabajando allá en Japón en la época de los 90s, sonic si que era super famoso en esos tiempos :D
@WindInuYasha89 true, but in the USA the Dreamcast was dead by 2002, slowly more and more gaming stores sold Dreamcast stuff in clearance sales. in Japan however the Dreamcast lasted many more years like you said. as a huge fan it was a very sad transition and what saddens me more is how i failed to take advantage of that to buy many more Dreamcast games at the time.
I remember this Fuse shit. They only made like two VHS "issues" and they just fell off. Last time I seen that guy, he played a very small role in Mr Deeds as the waiter o.O
Not even Sonic Adventure was enough to prevent the Dremcast from collapsing with the soon to be launched, PS2! Imagine, while this unveiling was taking place, back at Sony the PS2 was being put together, ready to shootdown the dreamcast on sight upon launch!
@EkajTheSwordsman Mario 64 has aged like shit. HORRID Level design, and what's basically a compilation of fetch-quests and minigames. And did I mention the dated unresponsive controls?
ah my favorite sonic game of all time, just such a wonderful time back then
2:42 Segata Sanshiro!!
Oh, 90s, I miss you so much D:
I remember getting this VHS at Toys 'R' Us back in early '99.
I would love to know who the hosts of this show are and what they are doing now.
Dang when this video posted I was still living with my parents 😬. So much has changed lol.
The song is called "The 12th of Never" by Techno Bass Crew. I just found it myself; I've been looking for years lol!
I remember watching footage of Sonic Adventure and the Soul Calibur back in 99. I was very impressed with the of graphics the Dreamcast had.
"You know the people at Sega, they're not human" *immediately cues Perfect Chaos* Beautiful.
Somebody, please rip the music from this part of the VHS. It's really cool.
Modern game industry sucks in comparison with game industry of 90s and early 2000s. Back then imagination was something valuable.
How this statement aged so well.
@@ZZtheDark I got burned quite heavily with the tone of UT3 and Skyrim and since then I began to wonder what went wrong.
@@kuklamatunes0706Sonic Adventure is the best video game ever made. Not a hot take, just facts.

That's not a disc, that's a trading pin set of all the characters in the game.
@SomeFluffer64 right!? sonic looks like he's in "Sonic R" there

Probably more like "Sonic and the Secret of Shadow the Werehog at the Olympics Unleashed"
